Travel: Hiking the Caminito del Rey

travel-andalusia-hiking-caminito-del-rey-el-chorro18

Hi loves,

When I went on my holiday to Spain my boyfriend and I decided to follow our adventurous instincts and walk two gorgeous hiking paths in Andalusia. The Mediterranean steps in Gibraltar and the famous Caminito del Rey from Andares to El Chorro!

Today I would like to show you my photos of the beautiful and breathtaking hike that is the Caminito del Rey. Or the King’s Pathway! Hiking this pearl of nature has been an incredible experience and we both enjoyed the walk tremendously. This walkway, pinned at the steep mountain walls of the El Chorro gorge is a must see and must walk if you are into adventurous and active traveling. I promise you, this walkway will not let you down!

You start the walk at a post where you get a helmet and some basic instructions. The main instruction: “keep the helmet on at all times”.  Hence the not so über charming photos with a mining helmet ;).  From the beginning the walk is impressive. You see the water dam as one of the first things, which is the whole reason the Caminito exists. In 2015, just last year, the walkway reopened after being renovated. Safe to say, the path is now much safer than it was… But while being completely new, the views have not changed and the hight as well as being able to see the original pathway is spectacular!

I’ll just stop talking now and let you enjoy the photos we made during our hike! Stay tuned as we also have a video coming up featuring the Caminito del Rey as well as our hike at the Mediterranean steps!

Travel: Roadtrip through Andalusia part 1

travel roadtrip andalusia cadiz sarandaadriana12

Hola babes,

Last month, I can’t believe it is already so far in the past, my love and I went to the Andalusia region in Spain for a well deserved holiday. A roadtrip through Andalusia. Although we did go on some short trips, it had been 4 years since we went on holiday together. Which I think is pretty long, right? And so we went on a roadtrip, a roadtrip through Andalusia.

Well let me tell you, it was an amazing holiday where we learned a lot and where we experienced so many beautiful things! It really was something good. It was our time to stand in the sun together, figuratively and literally speaking. Our place to just enjoy life, each other, the good weather and the gorgeous environment.

And so we did! We saw so many cities, sights and we did so much, I think maybe we even tried to see and visit too much. But it was worth it, it was amazing! And it was a trip to never forget. Today I am starting with part one about our little Roadtrip through Andalusia.

Stay tuned for part 2 and even more! 🙂 Hope you’ll like it.

Baci,
Saranda

Travel: Milan Fashion Week

missoni fw1617 fashionshow mfw fashion blog5

Ciao bellas!

In February I went to Milan Fashion Week for the 3th time, like always I was super excited to see the shows and to meet up with fellow fashion-minded people! When I went the second time I got the possibility to go to one of the bigger shows for my work at Artishock, but this time I went mainly for professional reasons. I was super excited as I got to see multiple big shows!

Upon arrival and checking in at my Hostel, the Ostello Bello Grande near central station, the first item on my agenda was the show from Roberto Cavalli! Besides seeing the big designers fashion shows by Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana, Missoni and Dsquared, I also got to go to presentations by Tosca Blu and Mr & Mrs Italy and saw the amazing shows by Aquilano Rimondi, Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini.

Read on for the full report on my third Milan Fashion Week trip!

Travel: Citizen M Rotterdam

Citizen M Rotterdam Living Room SarandaAdriana dutch fashion lifestyle blog travel

Morning loves,

The weekend has flown by again and I can’t imagine it’s already two weekends ago that I stayed in the Citizen M in Rotterdam to visit the IFFR (International Film Festival Rotterdam).

So today I wanted to tell you a bit about my stay at the Citizen M hotel and the movie I saw at the IFFR. The Citizen M Rotterdam hotel is different from most other hotels. One does not immediatly step into the lobby, we stept into the hallway which had a gorgeous spiral staircase. From the moment you step into the hotel you saw design everywhere. Interesting in-house architecture and interior styling come together with almost perfect balance. The atmosphere relaxed and home-y, but with many cool things to spot from within the corners of your eyes. Let’s just say that the Citizen M hotel in Rotterdam is a true hotspot!

Read on to read my full experience at Citizen M and the IFFR!

Hotel report – Hotel de France Invalides

hotel de france invalides fashion travel blog sarandaadriana10

Ciao loves,

I already told you a bit about my trip to Paris but I did not tell you much yet about my hotel! So here it is, a little hotel report about my stay at Hotel de France Invalides!

Through Buzz&Go a travel influencer agency I got in contact with Hotel de France and I got enthusiatic very fast. This hotel is just gorgeous and is located in one of the most vibrant arrondissements of Paris, the 7th arrondissement. On walking distance of the Eiffel Tower and very close to the Invalides Dome.

We were given a very warm welcome upon arrival and got assigned on the best rooms of the hotel, number 503 and 603 are the best ones I have been told 😉 And we got number 503. Our hotel room featured everything needed for a comfortable stay. A super big Queen size bed (although a little bit too short for the very tall boyfriend), a shower / bath combination, a mini-bar, a water cooker to make coffee and tea (or in our case cup-a-soup). But as said, we also had the most gorgeous view from our window and balcony!

Click on the read more button to see more photos of the hotel and to read more about our stay! Thanks so much to Hotel de France Invalides for welcoming us, we had a great time!

Baci,
Saranda
