MBFWA Front row at SIS by Spijkers&Spijkers and more

MBFWA Frontrow SIS Spijkers & Spijkers Smart Dutch Fashion blogger SarandaAdriana2

Ciao dearies,

Better late than never, here is my report on Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam! Did I already tell you that I was actually sitting Front row (!!!!) at the show from SIS by Spikers & Spikers which was presented by Smart?

I felt so lucky and blessed, it actually felt a bit unreal haha. Sitting front row I felt like I meant something and that the Dutch fashion world respected me and my blog, no idea if this is actually true… But being on the front row at a show from these great Dutch designing sisters was a little bit of a dream come true!!

Today you can check out some of my photos I took during MBFWA and I’ll share my MBFWA front row opinion on the different shows I saw as well.Β Hope you like this post! Let me know what you think of these designs in a comment and I will get back at you πŸ™‚

PS NSFW: This blogpost might feature some nudity so I WON’T suggest reading the full blogpost while at WORK. You’re welcome!

Milan Fashion Week: Sarandipity’s favorites

milan fashion week sarandipity blog style d&g dolce e gabbana italian fashion design style
Hi everyone,

I love Italian design and so I really wanted to share my Milan Fashion Week favorites with you all. Italian design can be pretty extravagant but is sophisticated as well. One of the shows I always look forward to is the show from Dolce and Gabbana. I always love how their collection is so recognizable yet so original and new! Personally I would love to own that owl dress. Look at it, it’s just perfect… Super cute, original, very well made, the textures, the colors, the a-line shape of the dress, I love it hihi ^^ This dress is my favorite look from this whole blog post by the way πŸ˜‰

Besides the show from Dolce and Gabbana I also loved the show from Emilio Pucci and Roberto Cavalli.

I love their styles the femininity, the sexy-ness, the use of fabrics, the prints, the way the designs accentuate the shape of the models. In my eyes its perfection haha. What I also love about these fashion houses, their collections are very diverse, from gowns to cocktail dresses, suits and shorts.

Last but not least are the shows from Philipp Plein (so super and A-MA-ZING-LY fierce) and the collection from DSquared2.

What do you think of these favorites? And the most important question, which design would you definitely wear?

Milan Fashion Week: Fendi & Gucci

Hi everyone,

Today I would like to show you some of my favorite looks from the Fendi and Gucci Fashion show during Milan Fashion Week. You probably have already noticed the ΓΌber cool Kaiser Karl puppet Cara Delevigne is holding in the photo above, well I NEED IT haha πŸ˜‰

I was amazed by Fendi since I really liked how they incorporated all those different fabrics. The designs are fierce, feminine, original and I actually loved the use of color as well. What do you think about the Fendi collection for Fall / Winter 2014-2015?

The thing I loved most about the Gucci show was the use of pastels and fluffy items, for example fluffy coats. Heck yes! I love how the furry / fluffy trend as well as the pastel trend seem to be here to stay. Well at least for now! πŸ˜‰ Click on the read more button for more photos from the Fendi and Gucci fashion shows.

My favorite look from the Fendi show is probably number 4, the picture below on the right. I love the fierceness, the use of (faux?) fur, the skirt, boots, belt, everything. I love how it looks like this gorgeous model is a warrior or nomad, or both πŸ˜‰
At the show from Gucci I really like the use of soft pastels with brown. The collection from Gucci looks smart, sophisticated and very feminine. I also love the fluffy-ness of the two pastel colored coats (give me please!!) and I love the dresses. Such a gorgeous collection in my humble opinion.

London Fashion Week favorites

Hi there,

Wow I am still talking about London Fashion Week while Paris Fashion Week has already started, I think I might have a lot of catching up to do haha πŸ˜€

Today I would like to show you 12 (!) of my favorite catwalk looks from London Fashion Week. A couple of days ago I already showed you my fave designs from the Hunter Orginal fashion show, which I really loved by the way! Stylish boots and raincoats, what more could a Dutch girl wish for in the fall?! πŸ˜‰ But today it’s the turn of Topshop Unique, Tom Ford and Burberry Prorsum. What I really liked about the collections from Topshop and Tom Ford were the clean designs and beautiful use of colors. Check out that gorgeous grey and black outfit above on the left, the long/midi circle skirt which looks super luxurious combined with a with a puffy more urban jacket. I heart it! <3 Both looks you can see above are from the Topshop Unique Fall Winter 2014/2015 collection.

The Burberry collection on the other hand was pretty colorful, deep darker colors were combined with pastels and various prints. From ethnic prints to dots and flowers. Not to mention the fabulous looking red sheer dress with lace embellishments.

What do you think of these collections? And which looks do you really like?

Ciao readers!!

Two other looks from the Topshop Unique collection, I love this more nude and soft colors.

My favorite four looks from the Tom Ford fashionshow. I personally like look three and four the best but I just can not pick one ultimate favorite haha.

Last but not least my favorites from the Burberry Prorsum fashion show. A huge difference with the two shows above but I love this as well. Look one and look four are my favorites. In my opinion look two is gorgeous but more for end of summer with the very naked looking top.

NYFW favorites: Prabal Gurung and more

Hi there dear readers,

Today it’s Wednesday, inspiration day! For me a lot of my inspiration comes from the fashionshows during fashionweek. One of my favorite designers is Prabal Gurung, since blogging I have seen a lot of his collections (thank god for runway reports haha) and I always have a couple of favorites! This time I want to show you my four favorites from the Prabal Gurung Fall/Winter 2014-2015 collection.

What I love about his collections is the way he plays with different fabrics and shapes. With the fabrics crossing in most of this designs (the two above and the first two below) he accentuates the female curves. The hips, the waist, the buste and the shoulders. Also the use of different prints, textures and colors is amazing.

Besides these gorgeous designs from Prabal Gurung I also had some other favorites… Curious to find out which ones?

The left look is from Dennis Basso and the right look is from the Michael Kors fashionshow.

On the left you can see a design by Proenza Schouler, the right design is from the MM6 collection from Maison Martin Margiela
