Happy Thursday babes,

Today I am not doing much, besides job-hunting, getting some e-mails out of the door – (a little bit of steenkolen English here ;)) and getting ready for the upcoming weekend.

My birthday is right around the corner and this weekend at a family reunion I will celebrate my birthday as well. I am pretty much looking forward to it and I’m already thinking what I should wear… I need something sporty for the activities during the reunion, but I want to look pretty afterwards!

For now, just casually sharing my latest outfit with you all! What do you think? Personally I think this is the perfect look for a Friday Night casually hanging with the girls… 🙂

Falling into fall – Outfit post

Falling into fall

Sometimes, you find something precious… I love minimal jewellery most of the times, tiny silver earrings, a simple watch, a simple necklace and my customised silver ring. I do not wear a lot of jewellery, however sometimes the perfect jewels can finish an outfit!

“Larimar, the stone of Atlantis or the Dolphin stone”

For this outfit I needed a statement necklace of some sorts. And so I picked this gorgeous Larimar necklace to pair with this fall outfit. Larimar, or the stone of Atlantis, is a gorgeous bright blue precious stone. This pretty gemstone is only to be found at the Hispaniola Island in the Caribbean Sea in the Dominican Republic.

An eye-catching stone with a story, and it’s to be said that this sea blue stone has healing abilities. The Larimar stone should help people to relax, be more positive, get over fears, helps with stress-related diseases and disorders and more. I do not know how exactly to formulate it but when looking at the stone a sort of happiness radiates from the beauty of the stone. The blues and color differences look gorgeous and only looking at the stone will make you wonder about the beauty and the wonders of nature 🙂

Layering for fall – Outfit post

Good morning loves,

As fall is coming up pretty quickly, it’s time to get layering for fall! I have already bought some gorgeous fall and winter pieces I can not wait to show you! One of the things being a cami dress I bought. Sometimes you see this new trend coming back from the 70’s/80’s/90’s whatever and even though you are not completely sure how it’s going to work out with your figure, you have to try it out!

And so last week I gave the cami over t-shirt trend a chance! I shopped a simple tricot navy came dress at H&M and paired it with a white tee by VILA with navy velvet print. To be honest, I still wasn’t sure about the look at this point… But, as soon as I paired the layered outfit with the right boots, in this case ankle boots with a seventies heel, I really liked it!

I finished the look with some pastel details, as hey, right now it’s still summer! My favourite pastel pink sunglasses by Andy Wolf Eyewear, my Daniel Wellington watch, and a delicious sorbet ice-cream!

Pretty and preppy – OOTD

Ciao dearies,

Today I want to show you an outfit with which I am madly in love! A preppy outfit shot during the most pretty time of the year. The streets full of warm orange and yellow fallen leaves, green grass and tress that celebrate their last moment before going into a winters sleep without leaves.

With the sun shining brightly I figured it was the perfect place to shoot this fall preppy outfit, so here it is! I can not wait to hear your opinion on this outfit and the photos.

But first, what am I wearing? This preppy outfit is styled totally around the Tommy Hilfiger boots (via Omoda)*. I am madly in love with this boots and although I borrowed them to shoot I actually really want to just add them to my shoe collection! Any thoughts whether I should do that?? So from the shoes on I decided that I wanted to play with the main colors from the booties. navy and burgundy. I am wearing a top from Primark and a skirt from H&M. Well, I think I pretty much succeeded right? To finish the look I decided to wear my beige Fashion Union trench coat for a little bit of extra preppy-ness and my Michael Kors* bag.

Fall Musthaves

With a lot of rainy days lately and lesser temperatures than we have been getting used to this past summer, fall seems to be right around the corner. However we still have more than a month of official summer left…. Ah well, with these fall musthaves I am sure you won’t be dreading upcoming fall. With more than 5 amazing trends, which I told you about last week, there are more than enough amazing clothes to create the perfect fall wardrobe!

Today I am telling you a bit about some of my fall musthaves. Items that, in my humble opinion, can not be missing from your fall wardrobe and items that will make your fall sparkle with happiness, comfort and style!

One of the big musthaves is a pair of all white or all black sneakers. You’ll find a lot of all black / white sneakers here… for example these amazing Nike Airmax! I totally fell in love with these and they are on top of my fall wishlist <3
