On Thursday the 12th I went to Amsterdam for an amazing blogger event. Unlimited PR invited me and a bunch of other amazing bloggers to join their UPRDigitalseeds SS2015 tour through Amsterdam and I could not say no to a fun and cool event like this!
In the early morning I was sitting in the train to Amsterdam with some amazing blogger babes like Helen from Beautyill, Femke from Younique, Anne from AnneSolveig and Dagmar from byDagmarValerie. I can tell you, starting a day with these lovely girls around you is amazing, I don’t know if an early morning can get any better!
Behold because this blog is going to be really long but also a lot of fun 😉
Oh it’s been a while unfortunately because I had the flu and was really busy getting a job. Well I am slowly recovering from the flu (still sniffing a bit hehe) and I found THE job!! YES!
I am so happy to be able to tell you that I have finally found a job again. I already started and have worked three days in a row from Saturday on. So I am quiet the busy bee again. Having a job in the fashion industry (I’ll tell you more about the job later on in a personal diary) gives me more structure but it also gives me great inspiration to write new articles! And I am really fortunate to work with amazing products from phenomenal designers!
Okay more about that later… Today / Tonight it’s all about inspiration! What makes me inspired to blog?! Well I am going to tell you all about it in this TAG which is originally from the Dutch blog ‘BlogQueen.nl’. For the Dutch TAG, check out this link!
Better late than never, here is my report on Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam! Did I already tell you that I was actually sitting Front row (!!!!) at the show from SIS by Spikers & Spikers which was presented by Smart?
I felt so lucky and blessed, it actually felt a bit unreal haha. Sitting front row I felt like I meant something and that the Dutch fashion world respected me and my blog, no idea if this is actually true… But being on the front row at a show from these great Dutch designing sisters was a little bit of a dream come true!!
Today you can check out some of my photos I took during MBFWA and I’ll share my MBFWA front row opinion on the different shows I saw as well. Hope you like this post! Let me know what you think of these designs in a comment and I will get back at you 🙂
PS NSFW: This blogpost might feature some nudity so I WON’T suggest reading the full blogpost while at WORK. You’re welcome!
Last weekend I was invited to stay a night in the lovely Ibis Centrum Opera hotel in Ghent. As I am quiet stressed out lately thanks to the job hunt this was a very welcome romantic getaway with my boyfriend. We planned our little weekend trip around Friday the 13th and Valentines day and well, a lucky and lovely weekend it was!
We started our trip to Ghent around 10 AM from our hometown Eindhoven to Ghent, via Antwerp. The first part of our journey was by bus and from Antwerp Central Station we continued by train. In Antwerp we already spotted some gorgeous architecture! I had never been in Antwerp before, still only saw the Central Station last weekend, but at least I have seen this gorgeous train station. The walls, floors, windows, everything looked like it was from a fairytale… And this was only one building of the many I came across during the whole weekend!!
Read on for the full weekend report and some more about my stay at the Ibis hotel in Ghent!
Two weeks ago I went to London for a bit more than 24 hours and today I am telling you a bit more about this long day I spend in London! As normally when I go on a trip with my boyfriend it was quiet the adventure haha.
On Thursday morning we had an early flight from Eindhoven to London Stansted airport. As we flew at 8 and we went back in time for one hour we also landed around 8 o’clock and so we would have a really long day in this gorgeous city. At least that’s what we thought. Normally when I fly with Ryanair I am on my way from the airport home or to the city center in just 20 minutes. But London Stansted is HUGE(!) for a regional airport, plus there was this weird check in thing we needed to do with our passports… Ah well, we arrived in the city around 11:00 and first we went to see the financial district as it was my boyfriends birthday gift and he really wanted to see the big skyscraper buildings from the biggest investment banking firms.
Read on after the read more button and see some of my other photos! 🙂
