Today I want to show you own of my favorite looks lately. I wore this last week when I visited the Citizen M hotel in Rotterdam and the International Film Festival in my old hometown! When I stayed at the Citizen M hotel in Rotterdam I just had to shoot my current favorite outfit in one of the prettiest hotspots of Rotterdam, the Old Harbour! What do you think of the location? Doesn’t it look pretty?!

This look is one of my favorites as the look itself is pretty easy going and it has two real eyecatchers, the boots and the clutch! The rest of the outfit is all black and all of the items I am wearing are actually some of my favorite pieces!

The basic turtleneck from Le Petit Bateau* (via Ganbaroo) is just super comfy, the leather jacket (Oakwood) my go to item, the skirt (Zara) is super pretty and very easy to style and the tights give the whole look a little bit of a sexy twist.

But mostly I am in love with the snakeskin boots! These boots from Ted & Muffy* are not only gorgeous, they are pretty comfy as well! When shopping at Ted & Muffy you can pick not only your size but also the wide of your feet and calves so your boots or shoes just fit like a glove! Perfect when you are a girl that loves to wear her favorite heels to every occasion but get’s sore feet quickly 😉

Beauty: Clarisonic Mia2 review

Today I want to talk to you a little bit about skincare. Since I have turned 25 last year I am more invested in my skincare routine than I used to be. I always used various products and I did not really have daily products or a daily routine at all.

When the end of 2015 came closer I decided it was time to treat my skin better and to create a full morning routine with a big part especially focussed on my skinscare. And so when I got the opportunity to test the Clarisonic Mia2 I did not hesitate!

The Clarisonic Mia2 promises to clean 6 times better than cleaning your face with your hands alone. The brush-head doesn’t rotate but instead it moves by sonic pulses that create more than 300 movements per second, impressive! Here we go.

Travel: Citizen M Rotterdam

The weekend has flown by again and I can’t imagine it’s already two weekends ago that I stayed in the Citizen M in Rotterdam to visit the IFFR (International Film Festival Rotterdam).

So today I wanted to tell you a bit about my stay at the Citizen M hotel and the movie I saw at the IFFR. The Citizen M Rotterdam hotel is different from most other hotels. One does not immediatly step into the lobby, we stept into the hallway which had a gorgeous spiral staircase. From the moment you step into the hotel you saw design everywhere. Interesting in-house architecture and interior styling come together with almost perfect balance. The atmosphere relaxed and home-y, but with many cool things to spot from within the corners of your eyes. Let’s just say that the Citizen M hotel in Rotterdam is a true hotspot!

Parisienne – Outfit post

Bonjour mes amours,

Today I want to share with you an outfit in which I felt like a total Parisienne. A look that I shot more than a month a go, I was not quiet happy with the pics but since a few weeks I have been started using Lightroom more often (instead of Photoshop) and I found that it’s way easier to tweek the lighting and white balance in your photos with this program. Yay for technology! 😉 – Still I am not a pro in editing my pics, unfortunately.

So here it finally is, moi as Parisienne, in a velvet Palazzo pants!
I like it, or should I say, love it…

For this look I decided to pair my dark blue velvet Palazzo pants from Zara, with a white button down shirt from Selected Femme*, my favorite leather jacket (also my only leather jacket and known as THE best purchase of 2015), DUO boots* and my Furla bag*.

Italian food: pasta Carbonara at Vapiano

Ciao tutti!

Oggi / today I want to talk to you about good – real good – Italian food!
I love Italy and I won’t be lying as I said that I almost love every Italian dish… I am a big fan of the Italian kitchen. From Pizza & Pasta Bolognese, to a nice risotto or the perfect vermicelli dish.

I would not be lying either when I would say that most of the people I know love my Lasagna’s and my pesto pasta salad was pretty popular during the Christmas dinner.
Okay I’ll stop bragging ’bout it!

Today I want to tell you a bit about the various ways to make a good and delicious pasta Carbonara. With some tips from a Vapiani (a pasta chef at Italian Fresh-Fast-Food chain Vapiano).
