Travel: Roadtrip through Andalusia part 1

Hola babes,

Last month, I can’t believe it is already so far in the past, my love and I went to the Andalusia region in Spain for a well deserved holiday. A roadtrip through Andalusia. Although we did go on some short trips, it had been 4 years since we went on holiday together. Which I think is pretty long, right? And so we went on a roadtrip, a roadtrip through Andalusia.

Well let me tell you, it was an amazing holiday where we learned a lot and where we experienced so many beautiful things! It really was something good. It was our time to stand in the sun together, figuratively and literally speaking. Our place to just enjoy life, each other, the good weather and the gorgeous environment.

And so we did! We saw so many cities, sights and we did so much, I think maybe we even tried to see and visit too much. But it was worth it, it was amazing! And it was a trip to never forget. Today I am starting with part one about our little Roadtrip through Andalusia.

A day on the beach with We Fashion x O’Neill

A while ago I was invited to attend a beach BBQ for the launch of a limited edition collaboration between We Fashion x O’Neill. Together they created a swimwear line for women with gorgeous bikini’s and a cute bright blue bathing suit.

I was excited for the BBQ and because I had a day off I decided to go to the beach early to soak in some well deserved sunlight and read a book. However, as soon as I arrived I saw that there was a group of press already present for a surf clinic by two of the best Dutch surf girls: Dominga Valdes & Julia van Rooij.

Let me tell you that I love surfing and have done it a couple of times already in Portugal and in Bali. So when the opportunity came around the corner and I was asked by the PR girls if I wanted to join the We Fashion x O’Neill surf clinic, of course I said yes! And so it happened, my day on the beach to relax became an epic day on the beach with fellow press and two amazing surf chicks who gave me some pretty good tips and tricks!

Thanks so much to We Fashion x O’Neill and of course to UPR who made it all happen!
I had a blast and I just can’t wait to hop on my surfboard again in about a week 🙂

When I went to Paris Fashion Week, a couple of months ago, it was my second time visiting the city of love. Naturally I brought my camera and some of my favourite outfits. Although I was only in Paris for just a couple of days for my job, I did get the opportunity to stroll around the city and shoot my all-time favourite in between seasons look!

Strolling around in Paris I felt like a true Parisian woman, therefore I called this look ‘La femme Parisienne’. The Parisian woman. That’s all I can say about this look. Sometimes a look doesn’t need words, it just needs photos describing the Parisian feeling 🙂

Altijd een Parisienne, waar je ook bent. A couple of weeks ago I was supposed to be going to a book launch, the Dutch version of the how to be Parisian would be presented with the editors present. However unfortunately I did not feel well at all and had to cancel. Lucky me the sweet PR representatives send me the book afterwards so I could read the book and tell you all about it!

So here it is, my book review on How to be Parisian, the Dutch version!

I have always been really curious about the book so as soon as I received the book I picked it up and started reading! Altijd een Parisienne, waar je ook bent (How to be Parisian, wherever you are) is a guide about love, style and bad habits. But above all a view on the Parisian culture, fashion and behaviour. From tips, to columns, recipes and how to’s the book features a lot of different aspects on how to be, a Parisian.

Travel: Milan Fashion Week

Ciao bellas!

In February I went to Milan Fashion Week for the 3th time, like always I was super excited to see the shows and to meet up with fellow fashion-minded people! When I went the second time I got the possibility to go to one of the bigger shows for my work at Artishock, but this time I went mainly for professional reasons. I was super excited as I got to see multiple big shows!

Upon arrival and checking in at my Hostel, the Ostello Bello Grande near central station, the first item on my agenda was the show from Roberto Cavalli! Besides seeing the big designers fashion shows by Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana, Missoni and Dsquared, I also got to go to presentations by Tosca Blu and Mr & Mrs Italy and saw the amazing shows by Aquilano Rimondi, Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini.
