Personal: The effects of a better sleep with Simba

Hi babes!

Today I want to tell you a little bit more about the Simba mattress I was talking about earlier in this blogpost. A couple of weeks ago I received my new mattress, I was so excited to try out the Simba mattress as I was having some backaches in my lower back due to my old and honestly, saggy, mattress. So I was super happy when my new mattress arrived!

At first it was a little bit getting used to the new mattress, it’s just so different and it was quite a bit firmer for the first few nights. Luckily the Simba mattress adjusts to your body shape so after a couple of nights I noticed I was slowly sleeping better! By now I have slept on this mattress for about three weeks and I definitely noticed a lot of differences due to my better sleep!

Basically there are a lot of health benefits you can get from a good night’s sleep. Sleeping for enough hours helps improve your memory, helps you restore your body, not only your muscles but also your mind, sleeping is the ultimate form of relaxing. Besides this a good sleep helps you be sharp when you need to be so you can pay enough attention to detail and it helps you get creative!

Anyways, there are so many health benefits. The Simba mattress also offers some other health benefits. It’s a hypoallergenic – and thus super hygienic – mattress which is good for people with asthma or allergies. The fabric is breathable and the SimbaPura cover is washable. Besides this the SimbaPura cover also looks very pretty on it’s own, love it! Back to the health benefits 😉

What I personally noticed ever since I have my new mattress is that I am sleeping way better, deeper, with less moments that I am awake and I no longer have a sore back! The health benefits I have noticed ever since this change is that my stress levels are lower, I am always a pretty stressed out person and I feel this is getting less. Besides this I wake up fresh, meaning I feel energetic and ready for the day, instead of still feeling super sleepy. Another thing I seem to notice is that I am feeling like I am a nicer and happier person. As if I am less cranky haha.

It probably isn’t only the mattress but I really feel like the fact that I sleep way better ever since switching mattresses made a big difference in my life.
