As some of you might know I have been on a London Citytrip the second weekend of 2017, because what better way to start the new year?! Well, without 4 hours delay and the #TubeStrikes of course haha. Our trip did not really go as planned and we saw less than we wanted to see, still we had a bunch of fun, had some successful shopping moments and most importantly, we laughed – A LOT! 🙂

Let’s start with the VLOG! Number four in total of all my vlogs and let me tell you a secret, I have more video content in store for you!
We arrived in London on Saturday afternoon, about 4 hours late, but oh well… Sh*t, uhmm snow happens 😉 First thing we did after arriving in the city was getting food, as we did not get water or food in the plane while waiting. Which I think is because we flew with a budget airliner… Luckily we had planned on visiting Panino Giusto which is an Italian Sandwich restaurant from Milano where dear boyfriend just had to eat on this trip! I didn’t mind as I love myself a panino, or two…
After fulfilling our basic needs we checked into the CitizenM and went into the city do some shopping. However, we couldn’t wait to get a good sleep so we went to bed pretty early and enjoyed our room to the max.
Next day we went to do some sightseeing, mainly around the hotel and we also went to the cool area of Shoreditch, Kings Cross, Piccadilly Circus and the Trafalgar square, which was just beautiful at night!
After a long, and as you can see rainy day, we went to our new hotel. For the last night we stayed in the 4* Mandeville Hotel in the Marylebone area. Perfect to end our trip with a lot of shopping as this hotel is right around the corner of Oxford street and Selfridges!
Before bed we went into bath and as soon as we woke up the next morning we went into the bathtub again. We ended our trip with a shopping day around the hotel, walking almost everything as there was a #TubeStrike going on and all busses were stuck in traffic. So far for doing a lot of sightseeing haha. Luckily for us this is just another reason to go back to London again ASAP!
