Travel: Roadtrip through Andalusia part 2

travel roadtrip andalusia estepona4

Hola loves,

Today it’s time for blogpost part 2 of my roadtrip through Andalusia! As I have already told you in part 1 about our roadtrip we had such an amazing experience!

We saw so many beautiful spots and stayed in three gorgeous towns! Tarifa was amazing but our top notch destination in Andalusia was the town of Estepona. An authentic village with cute floral decorations in all the streets. When we were there we stayed in a gorgeous private villa just 5 minutes driving from the city center. It was perfectly peaceful and so beautiful! Our little place to find the time to relax and sit back.

Read all about the second part of our roadtrip, soon a specific blogpost about our walk at the Caminito del Rey will be online so if you are curious, stay tuned for that! 🙂

ESTEPONA

Estepona is a lovely village around a 30 minutes drive south-west of the popular beach place Marbella. It’s a town where tourism is common but lucky for us there is no mass-tourism there yet! Estepona is a very authentic town with gorgeous streets up and downhill, floral decorations everywhere, gorgeous 3D paintings on beautiful white buildings and a very impressive and modern botanic garden with the most gorgeous orchids.

From our villa in Estepona we had a gorgeous view over the hills and the town. Should you ever want to check-out a nice airBnB in Estepona definitely check out this place! The hostess is such a lovely woman and she made sure we felt very welcome and had everything we needed!

Great location from where to enjoy both tranquility and the liveness of Estepona. Beautiful views and comfort only 1.5 km from the centre of the town. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy your stay!!

Granada

From beautiful Estepona we went on a one-day trip to Granada as we desperately wanted to visit the Alhambra. We had arranged our tickets before departure to Andalusia and it was one of the things we were extremely looking forward to!

I can’t tell you enough how this is a sight you really, like really!, have to see! Please visit this gorgeous place as it is mesmerising and almost heavenly beautiful!

Check out my previous blogpost where I share some ‘outfit shots’ made in the Alhambra de Granada.

Puerto Banus – Marbella

The last view days of our trip we were planning to spend in Malaga. But being in the neighbourhood and all we had a little stop over at the impressive harbour of Puerto Banus near Marbella. This harbour literally harbours the biggest and most impressive yachts. It was a very hot day and we enjoyed the pier and eyeballed a bit at all the extensive wealth.

MALAGA

Our last days in Andalusia were spent in Malaga. Malaga is the second largest city in Andalusia and the sixth largest city in Spain. We only had 1,5 days in Spain due to our little stop at Puerto Banus but we tried to make the most out of these 1,5 days. For instance we went to the castle Gibralfaro where we had an amazing view over the city! We checked out some of the gorgeous parks the city has and we strolled over the boulevard at night.

Of course we also went to the main shopping streets and enjoyed some of Malaga’s beaches! As we did not see all of the sites the city has to offer we would definitely go to Malaga again to further explore this gorgeous city!
