Ciao bellas!
In February I went to Milan Fashion Week for the 3th time, like always I was super excited to see the shows and to meet up with fellow fashion-minded people! When I went the second time I got the possibility to go to one of the bigger shows for my work at Artishock, but this time I went mainly for professional reasons. I was super excited as I got to see multiple big shows!
Upon arrival and checking in at my Hostel, the Ostello Bello Grande near central station, the first item on my agenda was the show from Roberto Cavalli! Besides seeing the big designers fashion shows by Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana, Missoni and Dsquared, I also got to go to presentations by Tosca Blu and Mr & Mrs Italy and saw the amazing shows by Aquilano Rimondi, Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini.

During this trip I stayed ad the Ostello Bello Grande near the central station. A fancy and good quality youth hostel with free aperitivo in the evening and sometimes entertainment such as bands, an exposition or a karaoke night. The hostel even has a rooftop lounge for in the summer evenings!
My stay at the hostel was great and the staff did not only help me really well with questions, they were also really kind and welcoming. They actually introduced guests to one another and it felt a little bit like seeing old friends again after a long time. To me, this was just perfect!
As I mentioned earlier my first show was the show by Roberto Cavalli. It was huge for me to go there and I was so super excited! The show was amazing and I could not help but just watch and experience it all without taking photos all the time. Soon a full article on the show will come online on Artishock Magazine! Stay tuned for that 🙂
Here are some of the favourite pictures I shoot myself during my visit to Milan Fashion Week!
The Dsquared2 show was all about an ethnical warrior theme, army style jackets and pants mixed with samurai armour inspired fur coats. It was a huge spectacle and I was actually sitting in the second row. My view on the runway was perfect and I was able to shoot these photos without any hassle!
Another big show was the one from Missoni. I have always loved Missoni for it’s recognisable zigzag print and it is always beautifully knitted. My favourite item was the look seen in the second photo above, the black dress had glitter thread knitted all through the dress. It was a flowing bohemian style dress with a low v-neck halter neckline. I am so curious to see the collection in the stores soon!
The photos from the show above with the designs by Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini are my total favourites. I am a huge fan of this designer and I am madly in love with these items! The fashion show was a spectacle and it was amazing to see all the models walking down a huge stairs together at the grande finale!
What do you think of these photos?
It was such an amazing experience again and I can not wait until the upcoming Milan Fashion Week! I’ll definitely be going again and I hope to be able to
