New Years resolutions wishlist

New Years wishlist resolutions yogagoods nike cortez alexa chung parisian journal

Ciao dearies,

Following my blogpost about what I have learned the past year and what I want to focus on this year (concerning my personal and professional growth) I decided to make a wishlist. Here are some of the items necessary or handy when it comes to some of my New Years plans – call them resolutions if you want to but I won’t do that, don’t want to jinx something that is already good 😉 …

These items are mostly yoga, personal / spiritual growth and personal style inspired.

Let me tell you a bit about my New Years wishlist!

Baci,

As I have told you my personal style is leaning towards the 60’s / 70’s style a la Alexa Chung, Brigitte Bardot and the brand Chloé. I really want to continue growing into a specific personal style this new year and I think I am well on my way. The books in the upper right corner: Alexa Chung – IT and How to be Parissian are already on my wishlist for a pretty long while and I think it is just time to get them. Maybe it will help me even more to determine and develop my personal style. Also the Nike Cortez are part of my personal styling too, of course! I just love them – and Farrah Fawcett!

Next up is the One Line a Day journal, for 5 years you need to write one line per day so after 5 years you can look back and see yourself growing and evolving. I think a journal like this can really help with personal and spiritual growth, don’t you think?

Last are the yoga items.

Yoga is a plan on itself for me next year but of course it will also play a very big part in my personal and spiritual growth. I already purchased the perfect yoga mat from Manduka, which is the Black Mat PRO and since the New Year my mom is also a big fan of her new Manduka mat! Now the only one who still needs a new yogamat is the boyfriend, so he can join me in my practice with a mat that is just as comfortable and good as mine! 😉

Mommy’s yogamat – isn’t it pretty?!

As I am new to the yoga practice I am not yet that good at some of the poses. This does not matter as yoga is not about perfecting poses, it is about finding what feels good and growing further within your practice from that point. To grow within my practice and to get more flexible I think I might benefit from a foamblock for some support with some poses. The one above looks pretty, you can get it in a bunch of different colors, and very firm!

Finally I have learned a lot of good stuff about the Yogitoes towels from Manduka! They are a great way to help with your practice when you are doing an intense yoga practice as it will not get as slippy as some yogamats can get when you are sweating. Plus I am just madly in love with the colorful design of the Yogitoes towels!

Yes me 2, I will definitely order it soon! Maybe I’ll right a review or something about it, because the fun thing is, you can actually start with the 5 year journal every single day! 🙂
