Ciao dearies,
Wednesday a week ago I came back late late in the evening from truly one of the best trips I have ever made in my life. Together with my boyfriend I decided to still go to Paris, despite all that happend on Friday the 13th last month. I have had many thoughts on still going or not. But I didn’t want to get affraid and I don’t want to give these monsters such a power over me. So we went. And I am so happy that we did! It was our first trip ever to Paris and we fell in love with this gorgeous city!
Paris is PURE LOVE! <3
When the Thalys announced this big pro-MO action for Movember we booked a super cheap return ticket to Paris as we really needed a little getaway together. We decided to go for 2 days and 2 nights, which was way too short haha 😉
Thanks to Buzz and Go we found a great hotel, Hotel de France Invalides* which gave us the perfect room with an amazing view as seen above (aaaaah!!! <3). It really was an unforgetable trip and in today’s blogpost I will tell you all about it!

After a long trip, Eindhoven – Amsterdam – Paris, we were almost at our hotel… Can you see how tired I am here?!
When we arrived at the hotel we had a little break with some nice hot tea and coffee in the room. Then we wandered around the bit and walked towards the Eiffel Tower.
We had a lovely evening and had a good nights sleep afterwards. Next morning the alarm went off really early as it was time to get on top of the Eiffel Tower!
See the arrow in the third photo below? Somewhere there was our hotel, resulting in the gorgeous view on the Invalides dome!
Relaxing and having lunch in our hotel room, look at this warm interior design and huge bed! Oh and the boyfriend is making a planning for the afternoon in this picture 😉
… which we decided was shopping! Unfortunately we did not make a lot of photos that afternoon.
Later that day we had drinks in the hotel bar while checking out that days photos and updating the social media channels 🙂
The planning for our final day was packed! Sleeping in just a little bit, taking our time for breakfast and checking out at Hotel de France Invalides.
After a pretty easy going morning we went to the Louvre…
…followed by strolling through Montmarte and the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur.
My trip to Paris was amazing even though, as you can see, it rained a lot! I got a bunch of fresh inspiration and I have more, 3 to be precise, Parisian made blogposts to share with you!
The most important thing I learned from this visit to Paris… Paris is PURE LOVE <3
Wauw, wat een mooie foto’s allemaal.?
Mooie foto’s!
