Am I a feminist? Sponsored Video

am-i-a-feminist-santa-clara-lidl2 Hi loves,

Lately I’ve been sometimes having my feminist feelings come into play. I have never been much of a feminist, except for the wish and desire that women should be treated equally. However with all that is going – elections and all that shit – this feeling is getting more intense. Being a girl boss and a strong, healthy and independent woman who can take good care for herself is one of the things I feel very strong about. It’s become very important for me but I have also seen that other women my age care for this more and more.

We talk about terms like #girlboss daily and read blogposts about: “How to become a #girlboss?” and more…

This Christmas we get a new ally in our pursuit of becoming a power woman: Lidl’s Santa Clara! Who would have thought? Lidl actually thinks it’s time for the women to be put in the spotlight this Christmas, and therefore Lidl presents Santa Clara! Check out the video after the read more button!

That seventies show – Outfit post

that seventies show outfit ootd dutch fashion blogger sarandaadriana4

Ciao dearies,

A lot of current trends are pure throwbacks to the 70’s, 80’s or 90’s! The flared jeans, strong shoulder pieces, sporty shoes and bandana or silk scarfs, trends that are coming back to life after having been gone for a while. In today’s outfit I am showing you my take on the current trends and how I like to wear these different trends together in a seventies sporty outfit with some 90’s influence. This look not only gave me a ‘That seventies show’ feeling, but it also gave me the Farrah Fawcett on a skateboard vibe! And for me it was a personal throwback to the time I wore scarfs like these every freaking day, the 90’s.

I am super happy with this outfit and I felt really good wearing it. I think it is a pretty original combination of items and trends, which I did not see before on someone else and which just matched pretty okay. It kind of feels like maybe I have found my signature style. Who knows…

To end this blogpost there is something I want to share with you. There are a lot of ‘fashion rules’ and sometimes people might not agree with what you are wearing, or they don’t like how you dress. But you should feel good in it. And no matter what people might tell you, about how you are making a faux pas or something: Fashion is not math, rules are not exact and some rules are there to be broken. Just like how I styled a pair of boot-cut jeans with plain sneakers, because I wanted to 😉 And because the Stan Smiths* are still super on-trend of course!

In this ‘that seventies show’ outfit I am wearing my Oakwood leather jacket, H&M striped top, VANS x STAR WARS bandana, H&M flared jeans, Furla bag via Designer Outlet Roermond* and Adidas Stan Smiths via Omoda*.

What do you think of this seventies style inspired look? Let me know by leaving a comment!
