Next week I am going for a shopping spree with one of my lovely girlfriends so I was wondering, what are the items I should really buy and how will I going to style these item. What I love to do when I am having these sorts of questions is checking out my closet and looking at previous outfits I shared with you all.
Time for an #OOTD recap, yay! I always like to wear different outfits and different fashion styles, from very casual to chic, rockchick, very feminine, I love all sorts of styles! But lately I am in love with styling black and white with soft pastel.
My favorite outfit from all these looks? Number 6 below, but I also really like outfit number 5 and 7.
Which look is your favorite?
PS: I have a big reveal for your tomorrow ^^ Or it least, I think it is a pretty big thing 😉
Hi there lovely followers,
Happy Wednesday ^^ Today I would like to share some Pinterest inspiration with you all. It has been terrific weather lately here in the Netherlands and this good weather is making me so happy. I am totally ready for spring!
So todays Pinspiration is all about bright colors, cuteness, softness, girly stuff, totally spring-proof for sure.
And, you can also see my love for pastels returning, again 😉 By the way I am still dying to buy a gorgeous lace item like a lace short or this gorgeous lace blouse you can see above. Hopefully I will finally find it this spring hihi.
Which of these looks and items do you like most? Personally I am in love with the top right outfit. A gorgeous beautiful combination of pastel and black (my favorite attire at the moment). I also love love love the pastel pink tulle skirt, it makes the look very romantic. In my eyes a perfect look to wear for a lot of different occasions. For example to Paris Fashion Week, a wedding, a date you name it.
And you, are you already ready for spring?!
Last Thursday I had my final evening class of the Fashion Journalism course organized by Fontys Hogescholen and Grazia. The course has been super useful and I learned a lot about fashion, writing, journalism, interviews, online media, magazines, blogging and even marketing. It all has been a great adventure and every evening I went home with a bunch of new found inspiration and positivity. Something I was looking for and kind of needed. Besides a lot of new knowledge and inspiration this course also gave me more self-esteem and dreams. Being a fashion journalist might be the career and dream I need to pursue.. Who knows? 😉 And of course I need to mention the beautiful friendship with Britt and Dagmar, you girls are the best and I will miss you every Thursday evening hihi <3
I would like to thank Fontys Hogescholen and Grazia for organizing this course and for giving me this wonderful opportunity… 🙂
Click on the read more button for some more photo’s (most pictures are made by Dagmar by the way, thanks dear!) and the most important things I learned during this super interesting course of Fashion Journalism.

Big thanks to Jan from Fontys Hogescholen Journalisitiek
Together with Britt and Dagmar! We graduated, yay! 😉
I learned a lot during the course of Fashion Journalism.
The first evening class Harriet Calo (fashion illustrator and blogger) told us to always stay elegant since you will be likely to meet someone more than once. She also told us that you need to show the world you are willing to work hard to achieve your dreams (and that working experience can also be delivering the newspaper everyday for 5 years haha).
The Dames van Dale told us to always do your research and run the extra mile. You should always try to know and do more than your colleagues. Seems logical, right? On the third evening fashion journalist Karin Kuijpers told us that you should be curious as a fashion journalist and that you should always show courage. I really loved her honesty and wow, this power woman is just bold!
Rinke Tjepkema from the Dutch VOGUE showed me personally that it is not always the right education that matters. She had practically the same background (Pscyhology) as me and actually ended up in the fashion world at one of the most awesome magazines there is. This was so inspiring for me! Besides that Rinke Tjepkema gave us some do’s and don’s within online media. More online media stuff, Kirsten Jassies from Blogtoday and Anouk Bos from Creators of Desire gave us some tips about blogging. They told us that as a blogger you should always be where the buzz is, for example Fashion Weeks.
On the last evening Carolien Vader from Bladendokter.nl told us about the Psychology behind Marketing, super interesting and a heads up for me. Psychology is everywhere, yay!
During this last evening class we also got feedback on our articles and other assingments. We ended the course with a glass bubbles and all got our certificates. Now the course is over and I still have not figured out what I am going to do with my Thursday evenings haha. Ah well, we will see 😉
Have a lovely day! xoxo Saranda
How has your week been so far? Mine has been great, had some lovely shoots with fellow bloggers, went to Amsterdam to visit Fashiolista and had my last evening class of the course fashion journalism. Besides that I went to the Nelly High Heels event from Nelly, Styletoday and Saturn yesterday… More about that later 😉
For now let me show you this look, since the weather is getting nicer everyday and I feel the spring vibe everywhere I really wanted to wear a spring proof outfit on Thursday. After I visited the Fashiolista office I went to Schiphol so me and Britt could grab a bite and shoot our outfit photos. Unfortunately the viewpoint was closed already and so we had to search for a good location a bit more haha. Well the results are not bad I must say 😉
I am wearing a blazer from H&M. t-shirt from Loavies, pants from MANGO, heels from Zara and my all time favorite bag from Tosca Blu! My jewelry is from Pandora, Noosa Amsterdam and Jetset.
What do you think of this quite simple, spring proof look? Hot or Not?
