Hi guys,

After a very busy, turbulent weekend and start of the week I lost a huge part of my inspiration for Sarandipity. It happens sometimes, it’s shitty but hey, got to keep moving forward! ๐Ÿ˜‰ When I lose my inspiration it’s hard for me, because I tend to make a huge drama out of the situation haha. I just value my inspiration so much since this blog and the things it brought me is one of the most important things in my life lately…

So since I need to regain my dose of inspiration to be able to inspire you guys I thought, why not share my sources of inspiration with you guys?! While I am sitting on the floor with a lot of fashion magazines around me and watching fashion documentaries, you can read about some of my inspirational sources! ๐Ÿ™‚

Of course I have more places and items which inspire me but in the collage above you can see some of the most important ones for me. I think by reading other blogs you can find lovely inspiration for your own looks, your own blog, items you would really love to buy and much more. Even seeing how successful girls like Chiara Ferragni are makes me want to work hard to fulfill my own dreams, so reading other blogs is also motivational for me! Besides blogs my other main source of inspiration are the fashion magazines and their online websites.  Other sources of inspiration for me are photography, I love different forms of art but visual art gives me the most inspiration, beautifully shot adverts or editorials and the latest collections! I think I could go on and on about my sources of inspiration but of course I would also love to know where you get your inspiration? So let me know in a comment!

Have a lovely day and don’t forget to join my giveaways! International giveaway & NL & BE winactie

Amsterdam Fashion Week, outfit inspiration! (Fashionchick.nl contest)

Hi everyone!

We are only 6 days away from New Years Eve but my beloved Amsterdam Fashion Week is already right behind the corner! I can still remember the joy and excitement last year in July when I went to Fashion Week for the first time in my life! It was just amazing and of course I just need to be there again this year!!

Amsterdam Fashion Week celebrates their 10th anniversary this year so it promises to be an amazing week! (By the way, it’s actually cald Mercedes-Benz FashionWeek Amsterdam! Hip hip hooray to Amsterdam for taking Fashion in the Netherlands to a higher level!)  So when I saw the chance of joining this amazing blogger contest from Fashionchick.nl I just had to join! For the non-dutchies reading this, Fashionchick.nl is one of the biggest fashion websites in the Netherlands. On the website you can make moodboards, a wishlist, you can shop, read about the latest fashion news, read blogposts and join great giveaways and contests!
For the contest I am showing you my ultimate Fashion Week outfits! I decided to make two different looks since the prize is two nights at the art’otel in Amsterdam and of course I will not be wearing the same outfit two days in a row! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Still a fashionista and fashion blogger, although I am on a budget, but a girl can dream and wish… ๐Ÿ™‚

More info on the outfits and why I choose these looks after the button.
Ciao lovely followers! <3

A show from last year, two amazing looks! If only I could wear one of these dresses to AFW! ๐Ÿ˜‰

The first look is very feminine and fierce at the same time! Because the skater dress has a subtle print it’s very wearable and not to much! By wearing (gorgeous) black heels, a black clutch from SUPERTRASH and the cute bracelet, the look stays very feminine and a bit chic. The jacket completes the look and makes the whole outfit more sporty and fierce!

Since I love to wear casual items and style it of in a chic way I think this look matches my personality and style very well! I also think this outfit is original and fashion forward.

The first outfit would be my super ultimate look to wear at Amsterdam Fashion Week!

Now for the second look. This look is inspired, partially by the SUPERTRASH ad campaign picture on the left and by Chiara Ferragni from the Blonde Salad. I love the golden details in the cream dress, it looks very chic, feminine and luxurious. Fashion blogger Chiara Ferragni shows us how you make a simple or casual outfit look gorgeous for example by styling it of with nice accessories.

My second look which I would really like to wear to Mercedes-Benz FW Amsterdam is more subtle and calm than the first look. A chic but very comfy outfit, as I already walked on heels the first day of Mercedes-Benz FW Amsterdam haha. I now have sore feet so I want to wear flat shoes. These loafers with golden chain are perfectly comfy and still very chic! The knitted sweater is very comfy as well. The skort gives the look a little bit of edge to it and makes the look even more casual than it already is. By wearing the golden chain necklace, the cream white shoulderbag and the nude eye-look I’ll give the outfit a more feminine touch.

Again this outfit matches my style very well since it is comfortable and casual as well as feminine.

Well fingers crossed now! I can’t wait for this years Fashion Week in Amsterdam!<3

Trend report: Sweater weather

Hi dear followers,

Normally I actually don’t wear sweaters that much (I am more a tank top / t-shirt + cardigan kind of girl), but this year I re-discovered this fashion item! Sweaters are available in tons of different designs, different budgets and above all I have discovered some new ways to style them! So yeah, sweaters can be damn fashionable!

So the first trend report of 2014 is all about sweater weather, it’s not really really cold outside but cold enough to wear a nice jumper or sweater! Some of the items above are really special and others are more basic (like the blue jumper from Reiss for example, which is super basic and very well to style!).  Personally I love to have both basic sweaters and more special ones. At the moment I am really wishing for a KENZO sweater! Last year they had a tiger head on their designs and now it’s an eye. I think this design is very intriguing (but maybe that’s just because I am an applied psychologist haha) but it’s so gorgeous! I love it.

Besides the KENZO sweater I also really love the Paris sweater, the basic blue one, the cream white one with beaded neck-line and the Batman sweater (which is totally awesome!) Which sweaters from the ones above are your favorites??

Today I will be going to Utrecht to have a HUGE outfit shoot with some lovely fellow bloggers and of course we are going to have a lot of fun as well!

Have a lovely sunday everyone! xoxo Saranda

Trend report: End 2013 with a bang!

End 2013 with a bang! balmain boohoo mode fashion moda inspiration trend report party dresses new years eve what to wear sarandipity fashionblog

2013 is coming to an ends which means it is not only time for new years resolutions but first it is time of the biggest party of the year!!

Are you ready to end 2013 and start 2014 with a bang?!
With New Years Eve right around the corner I am looking for a nice affordable party dress! I really like sequins but I actually never wear them, except on special occasions. So while I am not very very rich I tend to buy more functional dresses with less sequins and glitters ๐Ÿ˜‰ But I just found out that Boohoo.com has some amazing low budget party dresses! Well we’ll see, for now I made this Polyvore collage with some of my favorite party dresses! My favorite ones are the teal / green-blue dresses and the gold / teal zigzag dress!

What is your favorite dress from the ones above? Please let me know in a comment!

Trend report: Fashionable Christmas

Morning lovely followers!

It is Sunday again so automaticly that means it is time for a new trend report!! Since Christmas day is near, only 10 more days to go, I thought; “lets make this trendreport about Chrismas fashion!”. And so here it is!

We all know the (ugly) Christmas jumpers, with a huge Rudolf on it. Think Bridget Jones diary starring Mark Darcy and the jumper his mother made for him! ๐Ÿ˜‰ But now it’s becoming a trend, a lot of stores sells Christmas jumpers, for example the Primark or online shops like ASOS and Boohoo. Luckily they are not all ugly! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Check out some of the Chirstmas jumpers and other fashion / lifestyle related Christmas products I found in the Polyvore moodboard above! I really like the Ginger bread jumper, the mintgreen & creme jumper (top right) and the London Christmas jumper (bottom right). Besides that check out those cute Christmas socks, the snowflakes legging and the Jingle Bells necklace!

What are your favorites? Let me know in a comment!
Happy Sunday everyone, xoxo Saranda
