La femme Parisienne
‘Et L’amour? If the Italian dominates the game we call flirtation, the mademoiselle owns the tournament we call seduction.’
When I went to Paris Fashion Week, a couple of months ago, it was my second time visiting the city of love. Naturally I brought my camera and some of my favourite outfits. Although I was only in Paris for just a couple of days for my job, I did get the opportunity to stroll around the city and shoot my all-time favourite in between seasons look!
Strolling around in Paris I felt like a true Parisian woman, therefore I called this look ‘La femme Parisienne’. The Parisian woman. That’s all I can say about this look. Sometimes a look doesn’t need words, it just needs photos describing the Parisian feeling 🙂
Leather jacket: Oakwood
Chelsea boots: Asos
What do you babes think, do I look like la femme Parisienne?

I already told you a bit about my trip to Paris but I did not tell you much yet about my hotel! So here it is, a little hotel report about my stay at Hotel de France Invalides!
Through Buzz&Go a travel influencer agency I got in contact with Hotel de France and I got enthusiatic very fast. This hotel is just gorgeous and is located in one of the most vibrant arrondissements of Paris, the 7th arrondissement. On walking distance of the Eiffel Tower and very close to the Invalides Dome.
We were given a very warm welcome upon arrival and got assigned on the best rooms of the hotel, number 503 and 603 are the best ones I have been told 😉 And we got number 503. Our hotel room featured everything needed for a comfortable stay. A super big Queen size bed (although a little bit too short for the very tall boyfriend), a shower / bath combination, a mini-bar, a water cooker to make coffee and tea (or in our case cup-a-soup). But as said, we also had the most gorgeous view from our window and balcony!
Click on the read more button to see more photos of the hotel and to read more about our stay! Thanks so much to Hotel de France Invalides for welcoming us, we had a great time!

With lots of rain falling out of the skies during my time in Paris I was a bit sad as I really wanted to share at least one of my three outfits with you all. Well luckily when we got out of the Louvre the weather was not too bad, it was quiet dry for a few minutes – after shooting for I think 5 minutes it literally started pouring down -.- …
Last month I had a bit of an online and offline shopping spree and I found so many gorgeous items! Two of them being the top and skirt that I am wearing in this outfit. I am madly in love with these ZARA items as the fabric seems to be from a really high quality! Besides that I really love the fit and the pieces are really easy to mix and match with different styles as well!
So I threw the items in my suitcase and brought them with me for my trip to Paris, which I have told you about yersterday! I really wanted to wear this outfit in Paris as for me personally it felt a bit Parissian as well. Not too complicated, three tones and perfectly in balance and harmony. How the French women seem to like it from what I have seen in Paris and from what I have read about the classic French style. And so we shot this look in front of the Louvre Pyramid… What do you think of my ‘Take me to the Louvre outfit’? Let me hear your thoughts and opinion.
In this look I am wearing my current favorite scarf from I’ll Make You Famous, top and skirt from ZARA, tights unknown, bag FURLA via Designer Outlet Roermond* and my, still favorite, ASOS chelsea boots!

Wednesday a week ago I came back late late in the evening from truly one of the best trips I have ever made in my life. Together with my boyfriend I decided to still go to Paris, despite all that happend on Friday the 13th last month. I have had many thoughts on still going or not. But I didn’t want to get affraid and I don’t want to give these monsters such a power over me. So we went. And I am so happy that we did! It was our first trip ever to Paris and we fell in love with this gorgeous city!
Paris is PURE LOVE! <3
When the Thalys announced this big pro-MO action for Movember we booked a super cheap return ticket to Paris as we really needed a little getaway together. We decided to go for 2 days and 2 nights, which was way too short haha 😉
Thanks to Buzz and Go we found a great hotel, Hotel de France Invalides* which gave us the perfect room with an amazing view as seen above (aaaaah!!! <3). It really was an unforgetable trip and in today’s blogpost I will tell you all about it!

I still had a couple of Paris Fashion Week shows to share with you. One of my favorite fashion shows was this one from Nina Ricci. The designs look sophisticated, feminine with an edgy touch and playfulness. What I loved about this show was the simplicity in some looks, for example look 2 and 3, while still having original lines that catch your attention.
For me it was pretty difficult to pick out a favorite look at first. But after buying some floral, soft colored, sweet and feminine items last weeks I now know it’s definitely look number 4.
I am in LOVE with the floral jumpsuit, the simplicity and the way the design falls smoothly over the model. The soft colored print, the perfect old dust pink fluffy coat, the pink pumps. Everything fits just perfect!
But hey, I also love the dresses from looks 5 and 6, which are just drop dead gorgeous! I do think the left gown has a little bit of a Valentino feel but that does not bother me a bit haha.
What do you think of this lovely collection and which one is your favorite design?
