Hi there lovely followers!
I still had an outfit ready to show you guys. Personally I love how most of these pictures turned out! When shooting outfits with my boyfriend he just knows how to capture me looking at my best. Sometimes I am looking at the photos he made and I am thinking, is this really me?!
This look I am sharing with you today is actually the look I was wearing on one of the two days when I went from press agency to press agency for the open days. I actually switched from flats to heels every time at the entrance because heck I would not be able to walk on these pretty sandals the whole day haha.
What I really love about this look as that it is pretty simple but still very chic and feminine. The soft pink details in the sunglasses and the jeans make the look pretty cute and the heels, my blouse and the bag gives this look more a chic and feminine touch.
In these photos I am wearing a mustachio necklace, IKKI watch, Noosa Amsterdam bracelet, blouse from MANGO, pastel pink jeans from Esprit, my favorite Tosca Blu bag, belt from Primark, my new sandals from Nelly.com and the pretty pink sunglasses from AM Eyewear (thanks to bckspace eyewear)
As usual I would love to know what you think of this look… so leave me a comment to let me know your opinion 🙂
Last Friday I was invited to join the Nelly High Heels party in my own city Eindhoven. I had already heard and read good things about this party so when Styletoday.nl asked me to make a report on the evening of course I said yes! With my camera, iPhone, high heels (naturally) and party mode on I hopped on my bike and went to cafe Thomas. (Although I had some problems with my DSLR settings my iPhone worked perfectly, yay!)
When I arrived at cafe Thomas I was super happy that I didn’t had to stand in the line, since the line of people waiting outside was HUGE. A lot of people wanted to be early since the first 100 visitors would not only get a free pair of Nelly shoes, they also would get an enormous goodiebag! Everyone from the first 100 visitors made a top three of their favorite Nelly heels and within 2 to 5 weeks these heels will be delivered. My first choice? The heels you can see above, not super high but this looks just like a perfect shoe to me! I need it hihi.
Around 21:30 the lucky 100 could start to make their top 3’s, later when everyone was inside Fred van Leer (the most cool and funny stylist from the Netherlands imho) told us about the prices everyone could win, how everything worked and of course he told everyone to have fun and dance the night away. The assignment was to make a cool picture which showed your love for high heels (I immediately was busy being creative, making cool pictures and editing them on my phone haha) but unfortunately the connection was not so good. Finally Fred van Leer decided to draw three names out of a bowl. The prices you could win? Sopping money at Nelly €120 or €60, or a SONY smart lens for your iPhone. Of course the lucky winners where very happy with their price!
The party was super fun and everything was very well organized. There even was a chocolat fondue where you could dip in marshmallows or biscuits, yumm ^^
Well let’s just take a look at my pictures shall we?
I am finally regaining my energy after an amazing weekend full of fashion! Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam was perfect and I had such a great time with my dear blogger friends!
On Friday I joined a walk with many bloggers through Amsterdam and went to two very cool shows. Besides that I met with lovely Nathalie who shot these gorgeous outfit photos. This girl really knows how to capture me at my best moments! Since I knew my first day of fashion madness would involve a lot of walking and travelling around Amsterdam with the public transport I decided to wear a comfortable outfit. When I want to wear something simple and comfy I always want to style it of with a color or some cool details. This time I went for neon yellow and gold, a combination which turned out just as I hoped it would!
My total look consists out of my new H&M skinny pantalon with sipper details, Zara Knitt sweater, NLY sneakers in neon yellow, Fornarina translucent neon yellow clutch, watch from Fossil, Necklace and bracelet from I am and my Pyramid ring from the Primark.
By the way, the lipstick is Lady Danger from M.A.C. and I LOVE it! <3
What do you guys think of this look and what do you think of the HUGE pop of neon yellow?
