H&M loves Rotterdam!

HMlovesRotterdam VIP openening H&M

Ciao ragazzi,

Yesterday evening I went to one hell of a party in my former ‘hometown’ Rotterdam. Tomorrow morning at 10AM the biggest H&M of Europe is opening in the ‘koopgoot’ and yesterday we had a very big VIP press preview together with a lot of BN’ers, fashion addicts, bloggers and H&M lovers!

With blogger babe Britt I went to Rotterdam earlier to do some outfit shooting and to check out the new Markthal in the city (which is huge and super pretty!). Around 19:30 we went to the huge flagship store and immediately I was amazed by the size of the flagship store. WOW, it was just incredibly big haha.

You can check out some of the photos that have been shared with the #HMLovesRotterdam hashtag from employees to bloggers like Joyce from JustLikeSushi, RotterdamStreetstyle_official, Irene van Guin and Laura Boogers from thenewgirlintown! Including our (me, AnneSolveig & Dagmars) super cool wristbands on the middle photo on the right hihi.

Since the event was so much fun I forgot to make a lot of pictures myself haha so I borrowed some pictures from other bloggers (with permission of course) and from H&M itself!

Check out some more photos and let me know what you think! For me it was pretty clear that H&M really loves Rotterdam hihi <3

Trend report: Flower power

13-04-’14
Flower print trend fashion styling floral sarandipity blog

Good morning lovely followers,

Today I would like to talk a bit about the Flower power trend going on right now. In the stores you see a lot of pastels, flared items and also a lot of flower prints or structures. Personally I like the flower structures the most. Those items really remind me of the Spring/Summer Burberry Prorsum collection, which I loved! I am sure Burberry has been a big inspiration and example for a lot of shops and brands, naturally.

The flower print trend is hot, just like the palm print trend I talked about last Sunday. Both of these are pretty striking prints. So when you go shopping for floral or palm printed items keep in mind that your look should also have some peaceful basic items as well.

For example you could combine the black skirt, the denim shorts and the right shorts with a white blouse. If you are a true dare devil you can try to combine multiple prints. But I suggest to always have a stable base within your total look.  My favorite items from the collage above are the shorts and skirts, to me these would be the most easy and versatile to combine.

What do you think of the floral print?

What would Elphaba (the Wicked Witch) do? – Outfit post

Hi dear followers, as I told you yesterday I went to Amsterdam last weekend and it was a day with a lot of green! We went to the Heineken Experience, GREEN, and I was wearing a Teal Green top! This outfit made me think a bit of the musical WICKED, with the Green Wicked Witch of the west, having a green skin and always wearing black (I am wearing black as well ;))

I hope you like my outfit! Oh btw, the bag doesn’t fit that well, I know that but it’s my favourite and when going away for a day I just need a big big bag! 😉 Hihi.

PS: Like some of you might know Google Reader will shut down soon, so if you still want to follow me….. Please follow me through Bloglovin’ or via email (there’s a follow by email button some where on the bottom of my blog’s page)! Thanks in advance! <3

Outfit post

Hello again,

I noticed I suck in keeping a blog, for sure I am not posting enough things in a month…
I mean come on it’s already the 15th of February! Don’t you guys think it’s shocking how fast the time goes by? Because I for a fact do 😉

Well, so far my chitchat…A while ago I promised you guys an outfit post with one of my newest outfits! So here it is!! Enjoy 🙂

I am wearing a monki t-shirt with a low back, a skirt bought at Pull&Bear from the basics collection (that collection appears to be never on sale! haha). Besides that I wear pumps from Dolcis which I love but they do hurt my feet after 6 hours and that’s it…

Let me know what you guys think!

PS: I will try to post more often 🙂

xoxo Saranda Suzanna Adriana
