Business casual – Outfit post

Amsterdam magna plaza business casual outfit

Ciao dearies,

Today I want to share one of my favourite business casual outfits with you! I’m currently very busy with job-hunting and figuring out how I can really kick start my own business and projects so business casual is the style I am wearing the most lately.

So when I while ago I found the perfect blazer, yep you read that right; THΓ‰ PER-FECT BLAZER(!!) I just had to have it! I have multiple blazers in my closet but never did I find a blazer that is made of quality fabric and fits good as well. But here it was, my new Scotch and Soda blazer. It’s blue with a colourful lining and never have I tried on a blazer that fitted so well at the shoulders, buste and the waist. Happy me!

And of course I just had to share this blazer with you all! So here it is, in one of my favourite business casual outfits at the moment πŸ™‚Β I am wearing: Scotch and Soda blazer (duh), H&M striped knit, H&M kick flare jeans, Adidas Stan Smith’s and my brown Michael Kors bag.

What do you think of this look and what would be your go to business casual outfit? Let me know in the comments!

Baci,

Trend report: Fluffy fashion

19-01-’14
fluffeeh fluffy fashion trend report blog sarandipity mode moda polyvore style styling inspiration faux fur

Hi lovely followers,

How are you guys doing? I am doing a bit better and I seem to get a bit more inspired so you guys probably can expect some nice blogposts next week! Probably also because of the start of Amsterdam Fashion Week, which for me will start tomorrow with a bloggers network event with some nice blog workshops as well! I am super excited, that’s for sure! πŸ™‚

Since it’s Sunday it’s time for a nice trend report and since it’s still sort of winter (it’s actually not that cold at all in Holland except for the evenings), I went for the faux fur / fluffy trend. Comfort is key during the colder seasons but we still want to look our best, don’t we? With these faux fur coats and gilets you will! My favorite is the one from Maison Scotch in the right corner! That coat is just lovely but unfortunately it’s not very cheap haha. Hey I just saw the jacket is now in SALE, it still costs €135 but that’s not that bad at all compared to the €270 it used to cost before! πŸ™‚ You can buy this beauty over here. With a faux fur coat like this you will definitely be seen and it’s an amazing statement piece on a more simple outfit!

I really like the fluffy jumper with grey leopard print as well, this item would be lovely to style with a pair of black jeans or pants and with a statement necklace. This jumper seems to be super fluffy as well which means only one thing; comfy!! πŸ˜€

Wearing comfy fashion items can make you feel good and can give that little bit of extra cuteness or spice (depending on the fluffy item of course) to your look!

Which item is your favorite? Let me know in a comment πŸ™‚

Let’s wear a hat – Outfit post

Hi sweet followers,

Today I am off to Amsterdam, again, to shoot some outfits with the amazing Virgit from Preppy Fashionist and Iris from A dash of Fash! I think I am going to have a lot of fun today, I am actually sure of it, but for now let me show you my last outfit from the three shoots I did last weekend. These outfit pictures are made by Wendy and I love how they turned out! Wendy likes her photos very light and I like mine very natural colored and vivid, which is totally the opposite, but wow these pictures are just perfect! Thanks so much Wendy for these pictures… <3

I was in a very feminine mood last weekend, maybe you have noticed I am wearing way more skirts and dresses lately and today’s look is also very feminine. For this outfit I asked Wendy if I could borrow her hat, I never wore a hat before, but with this outfit my guess was that it would work out lovely. And it did!

So what am I wearing in these photos? I am wearing my lovely warm furry coat from SuperTrash (available HERE), my Maison Scotch jumper with lots of glitter and paillettes, a very basic H&M skirt, my H&M boots (I seem to wear them all the time on photos haha) and Wendy’s hat.

Personally I really like these photos and this look but of course I am very curious to find out what you guys think! You can let me know in a comment, as usual! πŸ™‚

Ciao lovelies, xoxo Saranda

Let’s add Sparkles & Glitter – Outfit post

03-11-’13

Good morning everyone!

Last week when I went to the Boohoo.com #Dressmas event I decided to wear my new glitter sweater from Maison Scotch. The sweater gives you that bit of early Christmas feeling and besides that it’s comfy and really cool with a large M printed on the front. Normally I would not like this because but since my boyfriends name is Mayckel I think it’s kind of funny haha. I wanted to match the sweater on an edgy way, but not to black. So I went with my blue / purple / bordeaux ombre waxed jeans. By the way, the colors on the picture are warmer than the jeans really is because of the low sun.

I am wearing my Maison Scotch sweater (available HERE), Coolcat ‘leather’jacket (available HERE), Zara wax-coated jeans,  Zara studded heels, Deena & Ozzy handbag (available HERE) and bracelets by H&M, earrings from the SIX.

What do you think of this look? Would you wear the sweater on a different way? Let me know in a comment!
