A lot has happend since I went AFK – Away from keyboard. The last couple of months I have been to awesome events inside and outside of the Netherlands. From Milan Fashion Week to Paris Fashion Week, press days and more, today I am sharing some of the things I did while I was offline with you all.
I’ll just give away some little hints about Milan and Paris Fashion Week as there is sooo much to show and tell about these major events! So stay tuned for more on these two subjects!
Read on for some photo footage and story telling of my time being away from keyboard!

Sorry for not blogging for a while, there is a lot going on, working a lot and not really being inspired or feeling like blogging were all part of my reason. But I am inspired, have some things to share and there is a little bit more time for me to write about these things again.
Yesterday I went to Amsterdam to visit press agencies and see the upcoming collections from some of my favorite brands. A lot of fun, catching up, eating the most yummy and most pretty red velvet cake, getting tired of running around from PR agency to the next one, but mostly it was inspiring!
But today I want to talk to you about an issue and I am mostly very interested in hearing YOUR opinion on this matter, so please join the discussion afterwards 🙂
There are some discussions going on about the 19 year old Australian Instagram model & socialite Essena O’Neill who told the world that social media is FAKE. Her ‘coming out’ and ‘opening up to the world’ got viral pretty quickly and there have been a lot of online reactions. So I asked myself: How FAKE / REAL is social media really?!
See above the viral video from Essena and read on to read my reaction and my opinion on this subject.
Oh my this blogpost should have been published yesterday already… oops! You might be wondering what I have been up to this summer and I can tell you it is a lot! Not only have I been working at the store, I have also been on holiday to Texel and more!
Read all about it in todays Saran-diary #2 blogpost where I will try to catch up a bit and tell you what I did during the summer! 🙂
Let’s just start at the beginning. We had a lot of hot days early this summer and so I have spend a lot of days in the pool. When I got this hand-me-down-camera-from-my-dads-work I figured out it was waterproof and tested it underwater! Pure fun I can tell you! Of course I also went to fashion week, where I wore this totally french style outfit and I visited the modefabriek. Together with my boyfriend I went to Extrema Outdoor as I was invited by MAC and UPR. Ah well deserved day full of partying, yay!
At the end of July it was time to go to dutch island Texel 🙂
Sorry guys, I have been offline for a pretty long time. I know….
For a while now I wanted to come to a sort of rhythm within my blog, like I used to have when I was still studying. But somehow I can not find it, not yet at least… any tips?
Also I am having a lot of cool stuff to share with you all so I really hope I can find my blog / writing rhythm ASAP! There are a bunch of new outfits coming up, and some cool new collabs. But let me start blogging again by sharing what I have been up to lately. Not really an Instagram diary but a more real diary with some snaps, called Saran-diary… I can tell you this is a pretty long blog post, I hope you’ll love it!
Don’t forget to share your scheduling / planning tips and tricks with me, ok?
It is Monday again so time for a personal blog, this week it’s time for a little Instagram update. Enjoy this weeks Insta-Sarandipity! I have been instagramming a little less lately as I am pretty busy with work. And sometimes I just don’t have a cool photo to share haha. I am thinking of maybe doing more throwbacks… What do you think? So last two weeks I didn’t do a lot of things outside of working very hard, shooting new looks and visiting the opening event of the MIPACHA store in Amsterdam!
At work I am having a lot of fun though! Sometimes me and my colleague’s try on items from the shop and 2 weeks back I wore a whole outfit with items from the store! (Photos 3 & 4) Ever since trying on the Isabel Marant sneakers I want them super badly, so that is something I am going to put on my wishlist! Besides my work in the store I also started some freelance work and I have some cool new collaborations on the blog these past couple of weeks! I started working for BLQE geneve (photo 1, bracelets on the right) and had a collab with Flux Universe (bracelet on photo 2 and 6) and a collab with Daniel Wellington (photo 6 and 7)! (Use discount code ‘SarandaAdriana’ before the 15th of April to get 15% discount on your order at Daniel Wellington!)
Of course I also celebrated easter and around easter I shared the outfit of photo 8 with you all. I am still so much in love with this look. I am showing some new items like my scarf from I’ll Make You Famous (a dutch brand which we sell in the shop I work) and my sunglasses from TOMS* (via UPR). Also I visited the store opening of the first MIPACHA store! I have always loved the shoes from MIPACHA’s and I am super excited to tell you that in the store you can also buy handbags and belts from MIPACHA. You should definitely visit the MIPACHA store in Amsterdam or the Hague soon! 🙂
Lastly I have a little question for you all. I discovered a new way of making pictures of my accessories like bracelet and watches for my blog. What do you think of these new styled detail shots of my wrists? (Photo 1 & 6) Please let me know as I personally really dig this style of showing you my bracelets and watches!
