Monochromatic hippie – Outfit post

outfit fashion blog blogger sarandipity vans sunglasses
Hi lovely followers,

Time for a new hippie boho outfit! Today I am showing you the look I wore to the launch event 1,5 weeks ago. Since I did not know what the weather would do that day I decided that I needed a layered outfit with a jacket should it become cold. I must admit that I seem to be only wearing jeans and while I love jeans I love skirts as well. I just don’t feel very comfortable in skirt when the weather isn’t good and well, I am a comfy kind of girl!

Because the event was pretty chique, it was a launch from a new website and it was at a rooftop bar (hell yes!) I wanted my look to be fun, sexy but not to playful and it had to be kind of simple and down to earth as well. I decided to wear a black and white outfit with some see-through, sporty chic sunnies and a pop of color. By the way, apparently see-through was part of a secret dress code because when talking to some bloggers I noticed that I wasn’t the only one showing some bra haha ๐Ÿ˜‰

Well what am I wearing then? I am wearing a top from H&M (pretty old collection), jeans from Noisy May (oh I am so in love with these jeans!!), my Nike sneaker heels, VANS sunglasses, Calvin Klein necklace, My Mochila bag, Ikki Watch and My Mochila bracelets.

Let me know what you think of this look by leaving a comment ๐Ÿ™‚

Alexander Wang x H&M, my expectations

alexander wang fashion fall 2014 H&M blog style trends saranda expectations rocco bag

Happy Friday lovely followers,

Today I am talking to you about my expectations for the Alexander Wang x H&M collaboration! Like many of you I can’t wait till this collaboration is available in the stores, hell I might sleep in front of the H&M store haha ๐Ÿ˜‰ Of course, depending on the items that will be sold and their price.

Since I always love Alexander Wang’s collection and his shows as well I decided to make a little collage of some items I have seen lately and how I feel Wang’s style will be visible in his H&M collection.

For starters I think we will see asymmetric garments like the middle photo in the bottom. I think asymmetric items like this will give the collection something special. Besides that an asymmetric blouse is a perfect basic with a nice and exciting twist, me like! Besides asymmetric items I hope to see a lot of volume, like you can see in all the skirts and the sweater from the cruise collection (the green one). I mostly love these skirts a lot, they look classy, feminine, innocent and fun! By the way I also adore the peplum-ish items in this collage… <3

Last but not least I expect to see knee-high boots, something like the ones on the pictures. And pretty, jackets. For the accessories I would really like to see a bag somewhat like the Rocco bag in different colors (pastels, nude and black please?!)

What do you think we can expect from the Alexander Wang x H&M collection?

Cute kimono – Outfit post

streetstyle ootd outfit kimono fashion blogger

Hi sweet followers,

Today I am showing you a look with some of my last buys from H&M. I showed you this kimono earlier in a trend report (HERE) and a lot of you told me you like the kimono trend. Yay ๐Ÿ˜‰

When I was in Utrecht with the lovely Britt we did some shopping (which turned out into this look) and shoot two outfits. If you have not seen the other outfit, go check it out because it’s a little different but still totally me. This particular look is almost all new. Except for the necklace, the heels and the watch. I really like this look since it represents my soft, feminine, sexy and adventurous side all in one outfit. The soft colors and the ruffles make this look soft and feminine. The black jeans, belt and heels make the look more sexy and fierce. And last but not least, the kimono shows my openness and longing for adventure. At least, that’s how I see this look haha ๐Ÿ˜‰

I am wearing a kimono, ruffled top and heels from H&M, jeans from Noisy May, belt from Michael Kors, necklace from SIX and watch from IKKI.

What do you guys think of this outfit? Let me know in a comment ^^

Have a happy Saturday!
xoxo Saranda

Chic for spring – Outfit post

Happy April fools day everyone!

Don’t get pranked, watch your backs and have a couple of good laughs today ๐Ÿ˜‰

Two weeks ago a friend from me came over to Eindhoven for a nice day full of girl time, fun and laughing about the things we used to do when we were younger. But we also talked about our dreams, are goals in life and the things we love most.

We really have some awesome common interests like fashion and photography, so when Marieke talked about shooting my outfit of course I said yes! And here is the result, yay ^^

I love these pictures since they are so super sunny, light, chic and fun. Although the look is not super special, it made the perfect chic spring outfit. I am wearing a top, skirt and the heels from H&M, watch from IKKI and bag from Deena & Ozzy.

What do you think of this look?

Trend report: Spring Kimono’s

Spring 2014 trends Kimono asian cardigan styling trends fashion inspiration flower print fringes

Hi lovely followers,

Happy Sunday! When I went shopping with Britt last week before shooting and the IAFBC I spotted some gorgeous Kimono’s and I actually bought one (the inner Kimono in the upper right corner ;)).

The pictures I made with this gorgeous new item came out great! You will see the result soon, I promise ^^ But I noticed their are a lot of Kimono like cardigans in stores right now. 2014’s spring season is all about pastels, flower prints, asian prints and also fringes are hot again.

I really love the Kimono print, it just fits really well with the other trends and it is a very wearable trend. Kimono’s are chic but are very comfortable too. Besides that you can style a kimono like one of the examples above in a lot of different ways. On a skinny jeans, on a tight pantalon, on a slim midi or maxi skirt (in case of a somewhat shorter kimono).

So if you like these kimonos, don’t hesitate to buy one. I can assure you, you will be very happy with your purchase since you can style it in many many ways!
