Hats up – Outfit post

hats up-outfit-ootd-hm-ecco-otraparte-blqe-bohemian-winter-sarandaadriana-sarandipity-dutch-fashion-blog9

Ciao dearies,

Today’s outfit is all about the hat, well and all the other pretty items of course, but the hat is the touch needed for this look to succeed. I put my hat on and when I do so I feel like a real lady. So ‘Hats up’, here is a bit more info about this boho-ladylike outfit!

Ever since I saw this fluffy H&M knit I needed to have it, but faith was working against me and so I actually had this same knitted sweater already for 4 times until I finally found one that was the right size and without defects. I decided to pair the long knit with my favorite faux leather leggings because well the combination just looks really pretty in my humble opinion. To add something special I went for ladylike and boho accessories such as the hat, jewelry, bag and of course the burgundy boots.

What I love about this look is that you can see the different styles coming together in the middle of the outfit. The top half is more lady like, feminine, mature and classy, while the bottom half, thanks to the boots in combination with the legging, is more boho. And well the knitted sweater is a little bit of both if you ask me.

The knitted sweater and faux leather leggings are both from H&M, as well as the wool hat, necklace from Primark, earrings from Zara, bracelets and ring from BLQE jewelry, velt bag from Otra-Parte and boots from Ecco.

I am so madly in love with this hat and the other accessories used in this outfit. What is your favorite accessory of this look?

Baci,
Saranda

Joining the army – Outfit post

army-boots-copycat-watch-sarandipity-sarandaadriana-babyg-outfit-ootd5

Ciao!

It’s getting colder, wetter and darker every day and this makes outfit shooting not the easiest blogging job there is. Maybe I should toughen up a little bit, getting somewhat stronger and learning to appreciate the cold?! For this look I decided that joining the army might be a good idea to conquer this winter weather haha 😉

With the cold weather my wardrobe changes as well, of course it does! But I still try to combine items to create looks that show my mood and show how I want to come across. In this look there are a couple things I want to show you about winter fashion. Things I want to do to inspire you to dress up and show people the best version of yourself! First of all I want to tell you that layering up is great, but you should not try to hide yourself and your body within tons of sweaters. I myself feel better about myself when I am showing some of my curves, when you can see a bit of my body shape. This makes me feel more confident! For this body shape, a pair of heels (short of tall) can make a huge difference as well. When wearing heels I feel like I can conquer the world! 😀

Besides this, stocking up on some fashionable fluffy sweaters is also a must, as I have seen a lot of really pretty once this year, while last year I could not find any!

In this outfit I am wearing a sweater by NIKKIE Plessen, Army pants from H&M, DUO leather boots, Baby G sports watch, Vans shoulderbag.

A comfy yet strong and sexy outfit is what I was going for and I am really curious to find out what you all think of this look! And what do you think of my new watch?! I will tell you some more about it later 🙂

Saranda

Hello December – November OOTD Recap

november-outfit-ootd-recap-sarandaadriana-sarandipity-fashion-blog-dutch-blogger-amsterdam

Ciao ragazzi,

Time is flying by unbelievably fast and so it’s time to show you all my outfits of November today! I already picked my favorite and now it is time that you pick yours and let me know which look you loved best! Here is the November OOTD recap.

My first look in November was the one where I was wearing the H&M jumpsuit and which was all about taking jumps (or risks ;)). The second look was MY favorite look of November. I am still amazed how the simple white tee looked so gorgeous together with the faux leather brown skirt, denim blouse and my lavender blue Furla bag! And I actually got a lot of very sweet comments on my pictures, thanks everyone!! The third outfit however was pretty basic, something I could and would wear everyday if I could haha. But I love to dress up as well,  I cannot really commit to just one style I think 😉

Read on for the other two outfits from November to form your opinion about all my November looks!

Baby blue – Outfit post

Baby blue eyes outfit ootd fashion blog sarandipity sarandaadriana amsterdam blogger furla bag hm weekday nike6

Ciao dearies,

WARNING: bare legs outfit haha. I shot this outfit around 2 weeks ago when the Indian Summer was still going strong and I could easily where this during the day while not being cold at all. Guess this is what you get for not posting your looks soon enough haha 😉

This look is all about blue, baby blue, light denim blue, and skyblue. Blue is one of my favorite colors right now and I am very happy with the amount of blue hanging in my closed right now haha. To make the blue colors really stand out I went for a plain white tee and a brown faux leather skirt. Even my make-up was brown-ish!

To me the color combination of this look is just perfect and the golden hour of sundown gave the whole photoseries a sort of seventies feel.

I am wearing: a denim blouse by ONLY, plain white tee by Weekday, faux leather skirt from H&M, Furla Yucca shopper and Nike dunk Sky High wedge sneakers.

Can’t wait to hear your opinions on this Indian Summer look! 🙂

Saranda

Take the jump – Outfit post

HM-jumpsuit-ootd-outfit-sarandipity-fashion-blog-sarandaadriana-amsterdam1

Ciao dearies,

Sometimes in life you just have to take a jump. Taking the jump to starting something new, take the jump to go on a trip around the world. Sometimes you should just go for something and figure out on the way whether it is working out the way you hoped, or not.

At some points in my life I could have jumped, but I didn’t. I did not apply for some jobs because I knew for sure they would never hire me since I was already 23. And when I did take the jump, on advice from one of my best blogger friends Dagmar, it turned out amazing! I got the job and in no time I worked at one of my favorite stores. But I regret that I just now, a couple months ago, took the jump. Because at this point, I have lost this job due to circumstances (no I did not get fired ;)).

Regret gets me nowhere though and so I am starting to focusing on the good things. And in the end I am happy I took this jump! I learned a lot in a fairly short amount of time, I had some amazing moments, was part of a store opening, was there when some special collections launched and well I just had some really cool colleagues.

While job hunting is not something that I want to do, I need to. But being on the hunt for a new dreamjob does also mean that I might take another jump. I don’t want to make excuses for not jumping anymore. I just want to do it and try it out! So soon I am going to make an appointment with the chamber of commerce and I will figure out how I can pursue my dreams. Hopefully to find out that with some help and advice it can work out the way I hope it will!

In this pictures I am wearing everything (jumpsuit, scarf and heels) from H&M except for the jacket which is from Primark, bag via Urban Outfitters, IKKI watch and Pandora bracelet.

Baci,
Saranda
