Bonjour mes amours,
Today I want to share with you an outfit in which I felt like a total Parisienne. A look that I shot more than a month a go, I was not quiet happy with the pics but since a few weeks I have been started using Lightroom more often (instead of Photoshop) and I found that it’s way easier to tweek the lighting and white balance in your photos with this program. Yay for technology! 😉 – Still I am not a pro in editing my pics, unfortunately.
So here it finally is, moi as Parisienne, in a velvet Palazzo pants!
I like it, or should I say, love it…
For this look I decided to pair my dark blue velvet Palazzo pants from Zara, with a white button down shirt from Selected Femme*, my favorite leather jacket (also my only leather jacket and known as THE best purchase of 2015), DUO boots* and my Furla bag*.
What do you think of this outfit?!

Last weekend it was that time of the summer when fashion loving Dutchies gathered in Amsterdam for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam. Of course I could not let this edition pass by unnoticed so I went for 2 days and had a great time.
I went to Amsterdam Fashion Week for the opening night with shows from Aziz Bekkaoui, Judith van Vliet / Chris van den Elzen en de Haute Couture show from Monique Collignon. As it was the opening night, which sounds like a big deal to me, I decided to pull a style change and go for something high fashion but easy to wear and very French!
The statement items of this look, Culottes and the hat of course. But can you remember that one blog post I wrote about trends that I was a tat afraid of? Well I think I nailed it with the culottes this time, don’t you think so?!
At least the streetstyle photographers at MBFWA did! 😉 Feeling, looking and walking like on of your french girls felt amazing and it gave me a huge confidence boost!
Speaking of the culotte trend, I am definitely embracing this trend right now! I can’t wait to show you many more outfits with this item. I really love how the culottes make me feel super duper feminine and that you can style the culottes in a really chic sophisticated french way or casual with a sneaker or flat sandals! For this outfit I paired my culottes with a simple breton striped top (both H&M), a leather jacket from Oakwood, slingbacks and hat (also H&M) and my JoTotes camera bag.
What do you think of this french girls outfit? And what is your opinion on culottes right now?! Let me know dearies <3

Well this is awkward, last week when I was shooting this outfit it was pretty much a cold summer day which looked more like spring or fall and I decided to wear this outfit and shoot it. But while writing this today (yesterday when you are reading this) it’s pretty darn hot outside and there actually are rumors of a heatwave in the Netherlands with temperatures above 38 degrees Celsius. Maybe for some of you this is not that special but here in the Netherlands that is super rare.
So now this look feels a little misplaced but I just really wanted to share it with you haha.
Here is my Parisian prints outfit of last week 😉
I went for a Parisian chic look with prints and lots of little details. Mostly I am madly in love with the animal print SLB (Smart Little Bag) from by Loulou* and my Zara chino pantalon. On the pantalon there are lots of little white dots stitched into the fabric which makes it super chic and an easy print to combine. As I wanted to do something more with the animal print on the clutch I decided to wear my H&M slingbacks with Snake Leather look. To style it of I picked a sweater (H&M) in the lightest color of the back and chose golden details like my Fossil watch to match the by Loulou bag.
What do you think of how this look turned out?!
