Good morning lovely followers,
Today I woke up and realized I did not yet have a blogpost planned for you for today. But as soon as I heard one of my favorite songs I knew what to share with you today: my favorite songs of this moment.
Last weekend I went to a festival hosted by DJ Bakermat (from the song ‘One dag (Vandaag)’) and I loved it… At the moment deep house is my favorite music to listen to. Just because it’s super relaxing, a nice chill beat and oh let’s not forget the happy and amazing saxophones tunes. I have always loved music and music can always cheer me up. Deep house cheers me up, but let’s me relax as well. During the Kingsday party last weekend I did some dancing, chilling, listening, enjoying the sun and some more dancing. It was a lovely way to go out and the perfect festival for me to go to during Kingsday.
For now, let’s say goodbye to the Monday blues and listen to a nice diverse couple of my favorite songs at the moment.
Happy Monday loves <3
PS: don’t forget to join my Uzurii colorful key chain giveaway and my MAGIC Bodyfashion Wing Bra giveaway! 🙂
Today I want to share something different with you all. For my blog I am on the road a lot since I live in Eindhoven and most of the fashion events are in Amsterdam. Now I really like playing games but I also like to be productive while I am on my way. I have a couple of different apps I really love because of their possibilities.
In this blogpost I will tell you something about my currently favorite apps, which are Couple, druppel, Showtracker, Skyscanner, Roamler, Duolingo, iTunes U and Bloglovin’.
Couple (free on iTunes) is an app I actually have since valentinesday. In Couple you can chat with your boyfriend, play a game called thumbkiss where both of your phones vibrate if you touch the same spot on your touchscreen, draw something together, make lists, share moments and more. A pretty cool app for you and your boyfriend! 😉
Druppel (free) is a Dutch app to check when and whether it is raining or sunny outside. Perfect when you are going home and don’t want to bike trough heavy rain. Just check out the app and try to wait untill the rain is getting less or when it stops. Go get some coffee or tea while you are waiting…
Hi there dear readers,
Today it’s Wednesday, inspiration day! For me a lot of my inspiration comes from the fashionshows during fashionweek. One of my favorite designers is Prabal Gurung, since blogging I have seen a lot of his collections (thank god for runway reports haha) and I always have a couple of favorites! This time I want to show you my four favorites from the Prabal Gurung Fall/Winter 2014-2015 collection.
What I love about his collections is the way he plays with different fabrics and shapes. With the fabrics crossing in most of this designs (the two above and the first two below) he accentuates the female curves. The hips, the waist, the buste and the shoulders. Also the use of different prints, textures and colors is amazing.
Besides these gorgeous designs from Prabal Gurung I also had some other favorites… Curious to find out which ones?
The left look is from Dennis Basso and the right look is from the Michael Kors fashionshow.
On the left you can see a design by Proenza Schouler, the right design is from the MM6 collection from Maison Martin Margiela
I am way behind on watching the fashion week shows from New York and London, bad bad blogger haha. But I will try to discuss some of my favorite shows from NYFW this week. First I would really like to show you my final favorites from the Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week.
I really thought about these favorites a lot since I had a lot of favorite looks haha. But this designs are definitely gorgeous! Above you can see my favorite look from the Chanel Haute Couture show (I love the holographic trend!!), two of my favorite dresses / gowns from Giambattista Valli and on the richt my favorite from the Dior Haute Couture show. What I most loved about these shows where the use of pastels and brighter pops of color as well. For example the dresses from Giambattista Valli show that bright deep colors match just perfectly with pastels! YAY for that 😀
Now my most favorite show from the Haute Couture fashion week in Paris was the show from Valentino. My love for this designer and his sense of fashion is growing huge and therefore I could not resist but show you all of my favorite designs from his Haute Couture show in Paris.
Hopefully you’ll like these gorgeous gowns as much as I do!
