Ciao dearies!

I am slowly getting ready for the holidays and with the festivities coming up it is time to check out different options for your outfit! Today I want to talk about the gorgeous Great Gatsby / flapper inspired dresses by Frock and Frill! A gorgeous brand sold on for example ASOS.com!

I have picked some favorite holiday dresses that I would wish into my closet haha and I would love to hear what you think of these gorgeous dresses!

Unfortunately the left dress from the picture above is already gone, mehhh! ๐Ÿ™ But the right one is still available and so are most of the dresses featured in this blogpost! The right one is gorgeous as well but is a bit more basic if you see it next to the left one but hey, it’s still pretty festive and holiday proof with all the embellishments, right?!

The right dress is โ‚ฌ121,43 and you can find it HEREย (ASOS.com)

By the way, did you know that Black Friday and Cyber Monday are coming up? Use the code: CYBERWKND20 to get 20% of everything on ASOS.com!!

fashion style inspiration trends pastel embellishments skater skirts cold shoulder mode moda

Hi there lovely followers,

Today I would like to show you a bit of my current fashion inspirations (or should I say obsessions haha). I am still in love with pastels and black and white is more and more getting in my wardrobe as a nice, easy to match, base for my outfits. Besides that I have much more things I really adore right now. For example skater skirts! I have bought a couple of very cool skater skirts at the moment and I am very very happy with the purchase hihi. Soon you will see them in an outfit of course ๐Ÿ™‚

What I like about skater skirts is the way you can twist them, like the girl in the lower right corner. It makes me feel super girly and feminine and it makes me very happy at the same time. Just what I like ^^

My other inspirations lately is the cold shoulder trend. When I was younger this was also pretty trendy, I still remember how I wore this stuff back then. Now that this trend is hot again I know how to style it my way and how to make it accentuate me in a good way.

Last but not least I am still into embellished items! Embellishments can make a simple top into a statement piece and it can make a basic outfit very glamorous. Love it <3

What is your favorite look from the ones above?

Ciao!!

Trend report: the great Gatsby

09-12-’13
Trend: the great Gatsby

Happy monday morning everyone!

How was your weekend? Mine was great, relaxed and I actually shopped some nice things!
Soon on the blog of course! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thanks to a lot of fashion magazines, Bridget Jones on the television and me finally getting a job, I got my inspiration bag and therefore I wanted to share this trend report with you! Yesterday I showed you the slip dress trend and how to wear, today it is all about ‘the great Gatsby’. This movie has become it’s own trend, ASOS.com is shopping walhalla for Flapper dresses and dresses with a lot of embellishments! The movie was great, but the trend is even hotter! Imagine yourself in a chic flapper dress, time travelling to the roaring twenties and partying with the true great Gatsby, or DiCaprio if you like ๐Ÿ˜‰

For me the clutch and bracelet from the moodboard are a musthave! I think the great Gatsby trend is not very easy to style. But with a furry vest or coat, simple pumps in black or nude I think you are pretty safe!

The great Gatsby trend is also seen on many catwalks and in the fashion magazines. Click on the read more button for some photo’s!

Ciao!
