A couple of weekends ago I had a shoot with Alexandra, it had been a while ago since we had met up in Amsterdam and this time we went to the pretty city of Utrecht! You know when I first started doing more outfit posts I shot a lot of my outfits in Utrecht together with Wendy, Britt and sometimes with Nathalie as well. Time flies when you are having fun I guess 😉
Anyways, I will not bother you too much with my talks. Let me just tell you a bit about the outfit and show you the pictures!
This outfit is an outfit with a little background story. Not just stripes, dots and cats but a little more. I actually wore this exact outfit once on a job interview and at first I felt so uncomfortable wearing sneakers.. However while I was travelling towards the interview I started to think it was what made this outfit more me. A fun little twist. So while I carried a pair of stylish flats, I decided to keep wearing the sneakers with the cat-printed Happy Socks. In the end the sneakers with the fun socks gave my outfit a funky and fun twist that made me feel more comfortable and somehow a bit more me 🙂
In the look I am wearing: Shawl by IMYF* (which is even prettier when you unfold it so you can see the burning man photography print on it!), necklace from Maison Scotch, striped top from H&M, Gucci belt, dotted chino’s from Zara, bag bought at Urban Outfitters, cat-printed Happy Socks* and my Adidas sneakers.
I am very curious to hear what you think of this outfit so let me know in the comments!
All photos and editing by Alexandra!

Well this is awkward, last week when I was shooting this outfit it was pretty much a cold summer day which looked more like spring or fall and I decided to wear this outfit and shoot it. But while writing this today (yesterday when you are reading this) it’s pretty darn hot outside and there actually are rumors of a heatwave in the Netherlands with temperatures above 38 degrees Celsius. Maybe for some of you this is not that special but here in the Netherlands that is super rare.
So now this look feels a little misplaced but I just really wanted to share it with you haha.
Here is my Parisian prints outfit of last week 😉
I went for a Parisian chic look with prints and lots of little details. Mostly I am madly in love with the animal print SLB (Smart Little Bag) from by Loulou* and my Zara chino pantalon. On the pantalon there are lots of little white dots stitched into the fabric which makes it super chic and an easy print to combine. As I wanted to do something more with the animal print on the clutch I decided to wear my H&M slingbacks with Snake Leather look. To style it of I picked a sweater (H&M) in the lightest color of the back and chose golden details like my Fossil watch to match the by Loulou bag.
What do you think of how this look turned out?!

Oh my I am so busy with my freelance work, meetings and my work at Artishock at the moment. During the week when I have nothing to do I can not always set my mind to shooting or blogging… Which is a shame, I know. But. yay(!), the summer holiday is coming and I am doing my best to clear up some space in my head!
Tomorrow I am telling you a bit more about my lifestyle changes but for now I am leaving you with a little sneak peek of an upcoming look.
I shot this Parisian Prints outfit last week when it was cold, windy and very unsure weather with sun and rain alternating every couple hours or so. And while writing this, it is actually super hot here in the Netherlands! So this look might feel a bit miss placed but I just can not keep it from you. The full look will be online upcoming Tuesday so don’t forget to tune in!!
