Before it’s time to hop back to bed I just really wanted to share this lookbook with you all! I shot this lookbook last Thursday with Margot for a collaboration with MYLC a new Dutch webshop full of it-girl items – yeah you should definitely check it out!
Ever since I started working 36 hour weeks I have noticed that shooting is a little bit of an issue. An afternoon is just nearly enough for 2/3 looks but it feels pretty rushed if I am being absolutely honest… Especially if you are doing your make-up before the shoot and you come to the conclusion that your winter shades of foundation are all done-so, empty – shit! Yep a blogger life is not always rainbows and butterflies let me tell you that haha. So sorry for the presidential face-paint 😉
Now let me tell you a little bit about my day look, which is casual chic combination of the purrrfect faux-fur coat from D brand, the prettiest satin-look oversized blouse by MYLC*, a black skinny jeans with cut-outs and a fringed hemline from H&M and pumps from Sacha. To finish the look I am wearing earrings from MYLC* and a gorgeous leather bag from Are You Swedish Cool Department.
What do you think of the day-time look?

I was waiting for this special collection for such a long time! And I was happy to be part of the big H&M family when the collection was finally there! This sweater from a really special fabric (never really felt something like this in my life I think) was so gorgeous and one of the only pieces I really wanted.
Because although I adored the collection, a lot of it was not really wearable to me, or was just overpriced in my humble opinion. This sweater though, I just had to have it. And besides this sweater the yoga mat that I am carrying in this photos (I love the leather strap!) and the sports bra with the reflective WANG and zipper in the front. Pieces of fashion art if you ask me!
So when the weather was good at the beginning of this week I could finally shoot this gorgeous piece of wearable art. I decided to make this look sporty and artsy. So I paired my AWxH&M top with a flowery H&M bra, faux leather pants (also H&M), the fierce yogamat (AWxH&M) and one of my favorite nike sneakers.
I am really curious to find out what you girls think of my look and how I styled this gorgeous piece of the AlexanderWang x H&M collection. Let me know in a comment!

Happy Friday lovely followers,
Today I am talking to you about my expectations for the Alexander Wang x H&M collaboration! Like many of you I can’t wait till this collaboration is available in the stores, hell I might sleep in front of the H&M store haha 😉 Of course, depending on the items that will be sold and their price.
Since I always love Alexander Wang’s collection and his shows as well I decided to make a little collage of some items I have seen lately and how I feel Wang’s style will be visible in his H&M collection.
For starters I think we will see asymmetric garments like the middle photo in the bottom. I think asymmetric items like this will give the collection something special. Besides that an asymmetric blouse is a perfect basic with a nice and exciting twist, me like! Besides asymmetric items I hope to see a lot of volume, like you can see in all the skirts and the sweater from the cruise collection (the green one). I mostly love these skirts a lot, they look classy, feminine, innocent and fun! By the way I also adore the peplum-ish items in this collage… <3
Last but not least I expect to see knee-high boots, something like the ones on the pictures. And pretty, jackets. For the accessories I would really like to see a bag somewhat like the Rocco bag in different colors (pastels, nude and black please?!)
What do you think we can expect from the Alexander Wang x H&M collection?

Goodmorning lovely followers,
Last Tuesday I went to POM Amsterdam x dance4life event. I already wrote about POM earlier in this blogpost. This time I am writing about the awesome collaboration they are having with dance4life! Dance4life is a Dutch charity organization, who try to fight HIV & AIDS all over the world! They do this by giving education but music and dance play a big part in there strategy to stop AIDS. For more information about dance4life check out there website HERE. POM designed two different shawls for this charity collaboration! With the quote “Express yourself with POM Amsterdan & support dance4life” in mind they went for an expressive shawl with paint splashes and 2 different linings (neon pink POM’s and a green leather lining with studs)

The two special shawls (see the pictures below) will be available online and in the dutch warehouse ‘de Bijenkorf’ from the first of November. Per shawl the price is €59,95, the income gathered from the sales will go to projects from dance4life.
You can pre-order your shawl at POM-amsterdam.nl/dance4life. Here you can also find more information and more campaign photo’s!
