British – Outfit post

british outfit ootd dutch fashion blogger sarandaadriana trenchcoat chelsea boots furla DL1961 Boohoo2

Ciao dearies,

After a really really busy week with a lot of exciting meetings I am back! This time a new look with my new favorite jeans, I guess by now you should know which one I am talking about!

I wore this look two weeks ago when I went to Amsterdam for pressdays. This look is really comfortable and mixes and matches a classic chic style with a more casual touch thanks to the top and the distressed jeans. I really had the feeling that this outfit looks a bit British. Maybe just because of the trenchcoat and the chelsea boots, but I must admit that I think Daniel Wellington watches also have a little bit of a British vibe… What do you think?

Really curious to hear your opinion on this British outfit of the day!

I am wearing my scarf from I’ll Make You Famous, top from Boohoo, trenchcoat Fashion Union via ASOS.com, jeans DL1961 Emma Bailey*, Chelsea boots ASOS, bag FURLA*, earrings and necklace from H&M and Daniel Wellington watch*

Baci,
Saranda

Don’t bottle up – Outfit post

outfit-ootd-fashion-blog-sarandaadriana-sarandipity-dutch-fall-cropped-boohoo-mango-invito9

Ciao ragazzi,

Today I want to show you a new outfit and talk a bit of how I am feeling lately… I am happy and everything is going pretty well I guess, except for the fact that I lack energy. I am procrastinating my work for my blog while I actually enjoy it so much! Maybe it is because I just need to get back into my regular blog schedule (3 outfits a week and so on) or maybe it is something different… I am quiet busy with working at H&M, thinking about starting my company and worry about what the future will bring me.

I have a lot of different ambitions and one of them is to build my blog into something more. Besides that I still want to get my masters degree, in something that I really really like to do (fashion communication and media or something) and I really would like to have a longer abroad experience (Italy got me and stole my heart, but I think that is pretty much clear for everyone of you reading my blog haha).

As I am a huge worrier and sensitive person I decided to try to not bottle up anymore (niks meer opcroppen ;)) From now on I am trying to change my mentality, to look more to the bright and positive side and just make the best out of it… And besides that hopefully saving up money quickly to go abroad for a year! I am trying to let go and lose my pessimistic views some more. Let’s see what’s in the cards for me!

With this outfit I try to reassemble my feeling of bottling up (in Dutch it’s called opkroppen) by wearing a pastel pink satin cropped top and a jacket that is opened, loosely hanging over my shoulders to protect me from the wind but open for new views and opportunities.

I am wearing: Jacket from Mango, Top and bottom from Boohoo.com, Boots from Invito (borrowed from Britt because I loved how they made this look a little bit more raw) and my current regular jewelry.

Let me know what you think of this outfit and if you have any tips to let go a bit more just leave them in the comments!

Trend report: California Palmtree’s

California Palm prints coachella fashion blog style blogger sarandipity spring summer trends

Good morning!

Today I would like to share one of my last obsessions and a big trend right now. Palm prints!! I really like palm prints since they make every item look more exotic. This print is perfect for the spring and the summer.

Being honest, I have not yet bought something with palm print for my spring / summer 2014 wardrobe… However I have some pretty cool items on my mind which I would love to have!

Palm prints always make me think of sunny California and now also Coachella. I would still really love to go to that festival some day. Fingers crossed I can make that dream come true ^^

My favorite item from the things you can see above is the white shorts with green palm print. Of course I love all the other items as well haha. Which item is your favorite??

Have a lovely Sunday, ciao!

Trend report: Fedora hats

Fedora hats fashion blogger sarandipity trend asos boohoo mode styling

Hi everyone,

Today I am having a quality time day with my boyfriend, I always love these days no matter what we are doing haha. Earlier this week I already told you I will be going shopping on Tuesday and well I still need the perfect Fedora hat. So this weeks trend report is all about fedora hats!

Fedora hats are really cool to style with a casual or basic outfit as the statement piece. As u can see in the collage above fedora hats are available in tons of colors, not only black or grey but also beige or pink, yay!

Personally I am super in love with the pink and beige fedora hats on the left but the black one on the right is gorgeous as well. I would style the fedora hat (depending on the weather of course) with a biker jacket, tee and jeans or maybe with a jumpsuit.

How would you style a fedora hat and which one is your favorite? Let me know in a comment ^^

Ciao lovely readers! <3

Trend report: Scuba stuff

Scuba fashion trend spring 2014 H&M ASOS Topshop Forever21 Boohoo mode styling report blog sarandipity

Hi lovely followers,

This Sunday I want to tell you a bit about one of today’s hottest fashion trends, items made from Scuba fabric. Fabric that has a very soft feeling, a bit like a neopreen laptop sleeve, and is mostly used for wetsuits, diving suits and surf clothing. But now, scuba skirts and other scuba items like dresses, tops and jackets are common in high fashion stores like H&M, ASOS and more. In my opinion a very cool fashion trend!

Ever since I saw the first scuba fabric skirt I am dying to try it on and find some cool scuba fabric items for in my closet myself! 🙂
What I like about this trend is that it is use-able in almost all clothing items, as I said earlier most items are skirts but also dresses, tops, jackets and coats from scuba fabric are to be found everywhere. Cool right? This also makes this trend very easy to combine. Wear a scuba skirt like the grey one on the right with a leather jacket, or wear the blue jacket (the musthave item in my opinion) with a simple jeans, high heels, a leather bag and a cool tee! Enough possibilities I guess….

What do you guys think of this trend? Are scuba items HOT or NOT?

xoxo Saranda
