Sunday Special – I am going to London baby

I am going to London babyCiao ragazzi,

Oh my I am sooo excited! This week I am going on a one day (24 hours and a bit) trip to London together with my boyfriend! It’s actually a birthday present from me to him as he always spoiled me with the most amazing gift and well, he deserved it!

So this Thursday I am off to London for a long day and I can not wait. I am going to London baby!!

As we will only have a short amount of time we are very busy making a good planning for the day and of course there are some things that we just have to see. And there will be some shopping involved to ofcourse! Personally I really want to go to Harrods and Victoria’s Secret. But as it is my boyfriends day he will call most of the shots haha.

We already know that we want to visit the Natural History Museum for sure, as it is free and it seems to be a pretty amazing museum! Furthermore we of course have to see the St. Pauls Cathedral, the Big Ben, the Tower bridge, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and the famous squares of course. And since it is around Christmas time already we will definitely visit Hyde Park a.k.a. Winter Wonderland from December! Aaah I really can not wait hihi.

Do you have any tips and tricks to spend the most amazing day in London

Baci,
Saranda

Turquoise waters – Outfit post

fashion-outfit-ootd-blogger-firenze-arno-turquoise waters-acqua-river-nature-moda-sarandipity5

Buongiorno!

When you are reading this I probably am already of to work! Working at H&M is a lot of fun and I am really happy that I have this job besides my blog 🙂 Today I am showing you my second Firenze look with a lot of turquoise , turqoise is my favorite gemstone and one of my all time favorite colors (next to pastels like pink and mint hihi). With this Turquoise waters outfit post I want to show you how I try to add my favorite gem into my daily accessories and wardrobe!

I know it’s a summery look but hey in Firenze the weather is still pretty good and although it rains a lot here in holland (oh how I wish those raindrops looked more like these turquoise waters ;)) the temperature is still pretty good!

When we (me and my lovely photographers Diego & Shawn, miss you guys!) were shooting this look I wanted to get creative. Show some nature and feeling. I felt so free in Firenze, free of all the stress from my daily life. Wearing my favorite color and gemstone in a lot of different items from this look made me really happy as well. It was the perfect look to share you my emotional state when I was in the magnificent city of Firenze. Shooting this outfit on / in the Arno river made it all perfect. The setting, my mood, my outfit, the turquoise waters and blueish-green colors surrounding me, it connected… Well at least it did in my eyes!

And so I can not wait to find out what YOUR opinion is about this look? Do you get the same free feeling? Besides that I am also wandering what your favorite gemstone is… So let me know in a comment!

I am wearing sunglasses from VANS; necklace by Karma Mantra; top by H&M; shorts from ASOS; bracelet from Noosa Amsterdam.

Have a lovely day ragazzi!

Baci,
Saranda

Personal: Italian life

italian-life-fashion-blogger-saranda-sarandipity-firenze-ponte-vecchio

Ciao tutti!

Ho sono tornato / I’m back, from my Italian adventure and my wonderful Italian life! Because of my full time training at H&M and my immediate holiday afterwards I had a little bit of a blogging break which I really needed. But now I am back with some great new ideas, lots of creative spirit and some amazing stories to tell you!

Starting today with a little bit of a peek into my Italian life in Firenze, or Florence (As a self-pronounced Fiorentina or Florentian I prefer Firenze over Florence though…).

I arrived in Pisa and took the first bus to Firenze, I was exhausted from my full time training and I also learned some bad news just the day before I left. An emotional roller coaster to say the least. When boarding my plane in Eindhoven the excitement finally started to kick in but I was relieved when I arrived at my Fiorentine apartment. As soon as I met my roomie and flatmates I was happy and felt home! If you guys are reading this, thank you for the amazing time <3

Read on for the full story 😉
Ciao!!

Travel Thursday – Saint-Barthélemy

St. Barths Saint-Barthélemy travel blog blogger sarandipity brittamaxime caribbean

“Travel is the only thing you can buy that makes you richer.” – A quote that I think is so true. I am so lucky to be able to see this much of the world and that is why I’ll take you with me on my exciting journeys! This time: Saint-Barthélemy

This small island or better said as: little treasure is located in the French West Indies and so the most people you’ll find there – for either holidays or living – are originally from France. And oh, I definitely understand why they come here to Saint-Barthélemy. I just fell in love with the island, my whole family did. It’s so relaxing, so calm and beautiful..
