As the end of the year is coming closer and closer I am getting ready for my New Years resolutions! Christmas is pretty much around the corner already and NYE is not far behind. So I thought it was time to get ready for 2016!

After failing Insanity, 2 times, not completing the Gluteal Goddess schedule from Bret Contreras and than not finishing the Bikini Body Guide, I decided to go for a different approach next year. I am going to do sports and activities that I actually like! Maybe combine different schedules or make my own. But one of the activities I definitely want to do more of is Yoga! When I did a 30-days of Yoga schedule with youtube videos from Yoga with Adriene I was happy! I liked doing Yoga and it made me feel better about myself, I noticed differences in my posture and my flexibility. And so therefore I want to continue this and get better in it! See what yoga can do for me my fitness, my mental health and my lifestyle.

Well one thing I need for this New Years resolution to work is a good yogamat! And so I stumbled upon Yogagoods.nl*, the only website selling Manduka* items in the Netherlands…

Wow it has been a while, have I already told you that I sometimes seem to suck at blogging?! 😉

Well I am back, again! And I gathered a whole bunch of content to share with you, so I’ll guess that I will stick around a bit longer this time haha.

First up I want to start with sharing my top 5 favorite things to do to relax. I suck at relaxing I can tell you that, this girl right here is one big stress head, no joke. So all this time I did not blog and write, I was stressing about not blogging haha. Why don’t you just blog than?! Good question.

Sunday Special: Changing your lifestyle

At the moment I am really busy trying to live a more healthier, happier and more balanced life. Not really something that you just, from one day to another will be able to change. It takes a bit more time and I think a lot of determination but with the things I am changing at the moment I am sure to reach my living happier & healthier goals! 🙂 Here is my little, personal guide to changing your lifestyle, with just some tips and things I am doing myself at this moment…

As most things are going really well at this moment I am trying to make the most out of my free time by changing my whole lifestyle in a positive way.  That whenever something happens sometime I am in a good / positive state of mind, feeling strong, happy and healthy. So that a possible curve ball will not be able to mess up the things I am building and things I am working towards! Normally I am pretty positive, I trust in the goodness of the world and I trust in mankind. But with some things that have happened the last 2 years I kinda got thrown out of my own balance. The balanced that made everything work pretty well for me. 

And that is exactly what I am trying to find back, my balance both physical and psychological. But for now let me focus on the happier / healthier changes I am already adapting into my current lifestyle!

Personal: Occupied thoughts about my dream job

Ciao dearies,

I always hear a lot of people talking about their dream jobs, the things they want to achieve and other dreams. People with a clear aspiration, a goal in life. But for me at the moment I don’t know exactly what I want, and it’s a pain in the ass.

To be honest, I am kind of jealous sometimes of people who know precisely what they want. People who know how to get it and sometimes already have their dream job or are well on their way for their dream job. People my age, 24. I am a quiet ambitious girl and I have always thought of myself to be working in a corporate environment, in an office, right now, at this age. But then I had an internship at a corporate company and I started doubting, is this what I wanted?

I was studying psychology and my internship wasn’t a whole lot of fun. And then my love for fashion also came peeking around the corner. Ever since then I have been wondering, what to do with my career?

Personal: No inspiration, then what?

Personal: No Inspiration, then what?

Ciao dearies,

It happens quiet often and it happens to the best of us. Moments where we don’t have inspiration or just have that ‘Today I don’t feel like doing anything’ feeling. Well today is such a day for me, but than I figured, why not write about it and tell you what I do to get happy and inspired on days like these!

One of the first things I do when having a day like this is that I clean. I will do some laundry, make sure my environment is tidy enough to work an do stuff. Because in a way, cleaning and doing things in my home makes my head a bit more cleaned up as well. It makes room for new ideas!

And then it is time to get some positive energy and inspiration flowing! What always helps me is to just take some me-time and relax. Pushing never helps in my personal opinion…
