Day to night – lookbook

day to night

Hi babes!

Before it’s time to hop back to bed I just really wanted to share this lookbook with you all! I shot this lookbook last Thursday with Margot for a collaboration with MYLC a new Dutch webshop full of it-girl items – yeah you should definitely check it out!

Ever since I started working 36 hour weeks I have noticed that shooting is a little bit of an issue. An afternoon is just nearly enough for 2/3 looks but it feels pretty rushed if I am being absolutely honest… Especially if you are doing your make-up before the shoot and you come to the conclusion that your winter shades of foundation are all done-so, empty – shit! Yep a blogger life is not always rainbows and butterflies let me tell you that haha. So sorry for the presidential face-paint 😉

Now let me tell you a little bit about my day look, which is casual chic combination of the purrrfect faux-fur coat from D brand, the prettiest satin-look oversized blouse by MYLC*, a black skinny jeans with cut-outs and a fringed hemline from H&M and pumps from Sacha. To finish the look I am wearing earrings from MYLC* and a gorgeous leather bag from Are You Swedish Cool Department.

What do you think of the day-time look?

Baci,

Day to night

As I wanted to show how you can easily switch up your outfit from a day-time to night-time look I decided to keep some of the items the same. My night-time look features the same faux fur coat, bag, earrings and pumps 🙂

For the night-time look I picked a velvet Little Black Dress from – yep MYLC*, I told you you should check it out 🙂 – which falls just over the knee if standing. Classy, chic and on-trend!

Love the faux fur jacket, it’s so colorful! I think it is a great day to night look, I remember I used to do this when I had hectic days… I would always plan a look that would be suitable for both day and night just by tweaking some things. And I think your indoors pics look very cool! Keep it up Saranda 🙂

I love the fur jacket ??? and your combo of how you matched to both day and night wears ?????

  • Beautiful look, thanks for sharing. 🙂 I’m also working 40-55 hours weekly and it’s sometimes very hard to find time for blogging and especially for the photos. There only couple of hours of daylight at the winter season here in Finland. I wish my blogging and some could offer me some money so that I could work part time again.

Oh my goodness I remember the struggle when I was working 40-50 hours per week and especially during Winter (like Nora mentioned), it’s an absolute hell to keep up with a blog pictures and work at the same time 😀 thank god it’s summer soon!
By the way, I’m absolutely loving that faux-fur coat – looks amazing on you 🙂
