and Jessica Biel in a Chanel Couture with jewelry from Tiffany and co.
I am back again, thanks to a huge stomach flu I could not sit behind my computer for a couple of days, mehhh 😉 Luckily I am feeling way better and this afternoon I am going to shoot outfit photos with Kelly from We Heart Fashion! New outfit’s, finally! 😀
Now for this blogpost, last night the 86th annual Academy Awards took place. I actually had planned to do a live blogging session, how cool would that have been?! But because of the flu I had I was just to tired. Hopefully next year I can live blog since I would really like to keep you guys updated 24/7… Of course I am still going to write about the Oscars and that will be this blogpost. In this blogpost I am going to report on almost everything I can report about. First the red carpet, who was best dressed and who had the worst outfit, the performances, the group selfie and of course the Oscar winners!
Are you curious / excited / eager to hear my opinion? Wait no longer and click that read more button, this blogpost is going to be EPIC! (And pretty long I guess….)
In the picture above you can already see three of the champagne colored looks I quite love. Already I am still not confinced about Christin Milioti’s dress, I love the color but I feel like the dress does not fit her quite well and in my humble opinion the skirt definitely needed some ironing.
Now for my favorite red carpet looks and my personal ‘best dressed’ opinion 😉
I really loved these looks and I think these celebs and their stylists pulled it of great!
Sandra Bullock is wearing a lovely gown from Alexander McQueen, I really love the drapery on this dress! Gorgeous <3
Lupita Nyong’o is looking gorgeous in a Prada gown! She actually looks a bit like Cinderella! <3
Kate Hudson is wearing a gown from Atelier Versace and looking gorgeous, the color of the dress, the cape, the details, I love it. In my humble opinion Kate Hudson goes away with the best dressed award!
Than this combination, I just don’t know what to think of this attire… From both Pharrel and Helen. I just don’t know… But hey, I just had to share this one in this blogpost 😉
Now for my not so favorite looks… These two celebs are both in the running of becoming Oscars 2014 worst dressed… First Angie she is actually just gorgeous as always, not much you can do wrong with that body, or can you? Personally I just don’t think this dress is really flattering. The dress itself is not bad at all but I just don’t think it works really well on Angelina Jolie. Maybe if we delete the sleeves partially? Hmmm…. And than Charlize Theron, I love the shape of the dress but what I do not like are the huge straps for example. Besides that I do not quite like the part where the dress looks sheer but actually isn’t because there are two layers. I just don’t get it haha. Which of these celebs do you think gets away with the dress? And which of these celebs does not?
